I have had an amazing time…
Seaside non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked I have had an amazing time at The Hollies and I can gladly recommend it as an ideal location for those searching for a quiet place with good amenities near the Suffolk Coast. I came to The Hollies with a tent on a motorcycle, and I enjoyed my stay from the very first moment. I think that the site was excellently organized, and the people there were kind and helpful.
I must say that the camping part of the site was quite spacious, clean and properly maintained. What made my experience more pleasant was that both toilets and showers were clean and well kept. Another positive thing about The Hollies was that its location was superb, since the beach was close and there were many interesting locations to visit in the area of Kessingland, Lowestoft, Southwold and the Suffolk Coast as a whole.
It was also an ideal spot to explore the area on a motorcycle, since I could ride along the coastal roads and come back to a peaceful site in the evening. I was pleased that even though it was quite peaceful at the site, it still provided me with amenities and opportunities to enjoy my time near the coast.
In general, I had a wonderful time and I think that The Hollies is an outstanding location that provides great value for money. In my opinion, it is perfect for solo travelers, couples, families, campers and motorcyclists. I will surely choose to spend my next holiday in The Hollies again!

Amazing campsite
Seaside non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked We love love love this campsite. This was our second time visiting. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the campsite itself js BEAUTIFUL the beach at the end of the site is absolutely amazing, so lovely to have access to it so close. There is loads of room between tents so the kids are all running around and it doesn’t bother you it’s lovely to see them all enjoying themselves. The toilets and showers are very clean, loads of space in there for lots of people at a time. The shower is nice and warm. There is a little play park, fish and chips van and also there are 3 huge superstore 2 min down the road should you need to pick anything up. We will definitely be back with our kids in the future. Thanks
Disliked Honestly nothing to dislike!! Apart from the fact you have to pay for your dogs is a bit silly!

Beach access via steps down, toilet…
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Beach access via steps down, toilet block always clean, takeaway delivered to camp, decent size pitches.
Disliked Slightly remote (but we liked that others may want to be a bit nearer to things). In fairness there was an onsite fish and chips but open on the nights we weren’t there. We were out of season.
