喜欢 The Hollies offers great value for money.
We stayed in the seaside field without electricity. You need to be there as early as possible to get a good pitch as they are allocated as first come first serve pick your own.
There were toilet and shower facilities along with a washing up area and ample waste disposal.
The site offers a relaxed and friendly environment. There were lots of well behaved dogs and children which was nice to see.
The site is well looked after and maintained.
The shower and toilets are cleaned regularly with lots of loo roll and soap available.
The showers are SUPER hot not a complaint as such but not suitable for children.
There is a steep walk down steps to the beach but it is really worth it. There is a lovely cliff top picnic area where you can enjoy the view surrounded by wild flowers.

不喜欢 The only issues we had were caused by the cleanliness of others and the warden arrived in a few minutes to sort it even though it was about 9pm.
The onsite food wasn't great but there were lots of delivery options locally.

喜欢 Everything was lovely, staff friendly, lovely big pitches.

不喜欢 The rough roads which no one! NOT even the staff did 5mph kicked up so much dust from the roads, people with asthma would struggle.
I know they keep long grass for the insects, but thistles as well? and children fall in them and get hurt, it would also tidy it up if it was all cut back, and maybe not encourage mice and rats.

喜欢 ~ Positioned near the sea with good beach walls
~ Good shower and toilet facilities.
~ Great fish and chip van.
~ Great visiting ice team van!
~ Easily accessed just off the A12
~ Easy check-in process.
~ Overall good value.

不喜欢 Would have been nice to have had a clubhouse or shop, but still a great site with plenty of open space for ball games etc.

喜欢 Personally, I really liked the entire layout of the site and the facilities (toilets, showers, washing up area, rubbish point etc and a dedicated coffee hut). I liked the little park, football pitch and basketball hoop for the kids too.

I also liked the fact it was located right next to the sea and there was more than enough shops within a five minute drive (Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, The Range, B&M, Costa etc).

不喜欢 The two main things which I disliked were nothing to do with The Hollies and more to do with inconsiderate people.

Unfortunately, there were a couple of “louder” families dotted around which was slightly frustrating, and there was also dog poo in the same field which me and my son were staying in.

There are clear rules which are given to everyone upon arrival and the park wardens is visible throughout the day, however, you can only do so much to enforce what’s expected.

喜欢 Large pitches close to a bus stop lovely views from the cliff top also very clean toilets never that busy.

不喜欢 A slight smell from the toilet block when the breeze changes

喜欢 Had a great stay in our tent. Loved being next to the beach which was great for our dogs too. Got up to watch sunrise which was beautiful.

喜欢 Lovely area overlooking the beach. Sunset across the camp & sunrise over the beach! Family friendly good vibes. Decent shower facilities

不喜欢 Shower was very hot & couldn't change temp which is fine for me but would've been difficult for my 4yo if we were staying multiple nights - better than cold though 🤣
