Kelling Heath is set amongst 250 acres of woodland and rare open heathland in an area of outstanding natural beauty and offers pitches for touring caravans, motor homes and camping. Set in 250 acres Kelling Heath is a haven for families and couples seeking to relax and get away from it all. Walk the many trails with the aid of the Walking Trails Booklet, hire a cycle or catch the North Norfolk Steam Railway from Kelling’s own Halt. A programme of Acorn Events are available based on the natural environment of this unique estate and will provide interest for all ages. Bat and Nightjar walks, moth trapping, pond dipping and so much more. Combined with a range of excellent facilities Kelling Heath is truly an exceptional destination to visit.

Route directions

To reach Kelling Heath travel on the A148 from Holt or Cromer. From Holt, turn left into Sandy Lane just before the village of Bodham, you will see a sign - 'The Forge Kelling Heath' pointing left before the junction. From Cromer travel through Bodham, pass a plant hire firm on the right then take the first right into Sandy Lane. You will see a sign - 'The Forge Kelling Heath' pointing right before the junction. Continue down Sandy Lane. The entrance to Kelling Heath is on the left. Continue down the drive until the Village Square is reached, follow the road round to the left and park in the designated parking area. Follow the signs to Reception. You can also reach Kelling Heath off the A149 coast road. At Weybourne urn opposite the church then the next turning left following the site signs. You will leave Weybourne and go past the North Norfolk Railway station, continue over a bridge (care needed here) up a hill and Kelling Heath is at the top of the hill on the right side.
