Electric optional grass touring pitch
Liked Warm welcome on arrival, good size pitch, flat. Clean facilities, with good large shower area. Site separated by tress and hedges, which gives a nice feel and privacy to some pitches. Very peaceful, with only a short walk into Hingham to a great pub. Would stay again.

Lovely peaceful stay, definitely recommend:)
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked The size of the pitch is great, I’ve got my medium sized tent and set up and we still have like 30 feet between us and next door, everybody here is super friendly including the owner - see him going round cleaning and generally being involved frequently which is really nice he kept the loos, showers and kitchen absolutely spotless and he was very friendly to talk to.
If you explore the site there’s lovely dog walks with neat grass paths cut into the overgrown nature and bush land down the far end of the site, its a little bit of a maze with different paths to choose but they all lead back to the site, it’s really well thought of and well maintained and it takes you away from everything and everyone and it’s really quiet but it’s complete darkness at night so bring a head torch lol.
I will definitely come back here, it’s now my favourite local site for me being 20 miles away, next time I will bring some fishing gear and il try the more hidden smaller lake where you fish from the centre island :)
Disliked I don’t think i disliked anything although I do have a small recommendation, when you come into the site you come past the first lake but it’s a little unclear what to do then, there are bins at the farmyard/reception bit with a carpark and a little black board with name and pitch and we come straight past it and had to ask someone else who had done the same thing the day before, so all i would recommend maybe is a slightly bigger board with names on pitches that attracts your attention a little easier.

Quiet adult only site with a helpful staff member. Ideal location.
Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked Peaceful. Wildlife. Good location. Electricity good value (metered).
Disliked Facilities need expanding; not many toilets & showers for the size of the site.

The site was very clean and excellently set out.
Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked How quiet it was , like being back to nature. No light pollution, and lots of wildlife around us.
Disliked Never meeting our hosts. We found our name on a board with our pitch number on. It didn’t spoil our stay but it would have been nice to meet them.
