  • Near Great Yarmouth and the Norfolk Broads
  • Two parks in one: family-oriented and more quiet sections
  • Indoor and outdoor pools, gym, crazy golf, bar and restaurant
If you can’t decide whether to opt for an idle break or something a bit more lively, then have the best of both at Breydon Water Holiday Park, near Great Yarmouth and the Norfolk Broads. It’s essentially two parks in one: the first is Yare Village, for those looking for an active, family-oriented vibe, with its toasty outdoor pool (open from May to September, weather permitting), crazy golf, and a buzzing schedule of sports, kids’ activities and evening entertainment. Just 10 minutes’ walk away is the more sedate Bure Village, where there’s an indoor pool and a fully-equipped gym. The site also has wifi in the Waterside bar and restaurant.

What customers say

Guests praise the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and good entertainment options. The location is also highlighted positively, with easy access to walking routes. However, recurring issues include the shower design requiring constant button pressing, which guests find inconvenient. Some reviews mention muddy pitches and the need for site maintenance and updates. There are also mixed opinions on noise levels and the overall value for money.

Electric grass pitch

Liked I liked the location.

Disliked Toilets and showers were not very clean, no soap replaced in the whole week we stayed. Sanitary bins overflowing, everything looked old and dirty, doors with holes in just boarded up with signs. Site has infestation of ants, and has poisonous shrubs in between pitches! They have 2 sites but on opposite sides of the road with no safety crossing. Inside pool was colder than the outside pool. Shop was extremely expensive, purchased 14 ice creams and cost me £45. Maybe a few trees or bushes to separate the camping field from the road.

Electric grass pitch

Liked My family just got back last night from our mini break here and we loved it all especially the water slide and the activities and we would like to say that the staff were so friendly and we loved the troopers.
A very special shout out to Leah, Dan and Crystelle for being so great.

My daughter Alyssa loved them all especially Dan who she thgt was very funny.

We loved how friendly everyone was and the children's entertainment was great.
Evening entertainment was also very good especially the game show nights and live acts.

We were lucky to have lovley weather.
We had a great time and she made lots of friends.
Would definitely come back again and recommend. 😀😀😀
Thank you from Emma,Yas and Alyssa 😘

Disliked The toilet block wasn't as clean as could be at times and some very noisy campers but that was literally our only dislike
On the whole would say 9/10

Local attractions

Great Yarmouth, a short drive away, has masses of attractions – too many to list here, but to give you an idea: the Sea Life aquarium, the exhilarating indoor circuit at Karting 2000, mini choo-choos and tiny townsfolk at Merrivale Model Village and Gardens, and the Elizabethan House Museum, where visitors can don Tudor fashions and find out what life was really like below stairs for Victorian scullery maids. There are more than 50 acres of adrenaline rides, plus parrot and sea lion shows and an Alpine chair lift at Pleasurewood Hills in Lowestoft. For those seeking more genteel pursuits, also near Lowestoft is Somerleyton Hall, a Tudor-Jacobean pile with pleasure gardens and a maze, home to the Crossley Carpets dynasty. Drive a little further and you can explore the wetlands and waterways of the Norfolk Broads, or head south to gorgeous Southwold and Aldeburgh in Suffolk.
