What customers say
This is a well-maintained and immaculately clean campsite with excellent facilities, particularly the modern, heated toilet and shower blocks. Guests praise the friendly and helpful staff, spacious pitches, and peaceful atmosphere. Barney's Bar and the on-site shop are popular additions. The rural location is ideal for exploring the area, though some note the narrow access lane. Minor points raised include occasional WiFi issues and the bar's limited opening hours.

Verywell looked after site
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Everything, amenities excellent and spotlessly clean, very friendly people, great location.
Really lovely site. Good dark skies, so great for the meteor shower on 12 August.
No dislikes, the it's 9 rather than 10 because if you prefer to camp with no electric hookup there are not many pitches, so you need to book well in advance.
Would definitely return and recommend.

All in all a very good stay on a good site.
Fully-serviced gravel touring pitch (super)
Liked The location is peaceful. Our pitch though initially looking a bit daunting was actually well placed allowing a degree of shelter from the scorching weather. We travelled as a family group with another caravan which was pitched behind rather than beside us and that worked well.
Disliked The long narrow approach lane is a bit worrying but tuyrned out to be no problem

A lovely site, easy to get to the coast. Well worth a visit.
Electric gravel touring pitch (pull-thru)
Liked Lovely site, very clean, generous pitches and a small bar on site made a nice touch. Whilst we were there they had a local band and catering van come for evening entertainment which was a lovely evening.
Disliked Only 2 toilets (in the ladies) in the small facilities block at the top of the site for a large number of pitches, so they were VERY busy. Disabled facilities were a trek to the other end of the site and appeared to be a bit forgotten with cleaning. The main toilet block had a dreadful smell of drains every time you went in.
