What customers say

This well-maintained site offers spacious, flat pitches and exceptional, clean facilities, particularly praised for its showers. Families highlight the excellent playground, farm animals, and the popular pizza barn and cafe. While some visitors experienced queues for showers during peak times and noted a lack of signage, the overall feedback is overwhelmingly positive, with many eager to return.

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch

Liked Lovely site, easy to access, good booking communication, great cafe and pizza barn. Facilities all purpose built and close to the pitches.

Disliked Not enough showers so a bit of a wait and although pretty new, not the cleanest although we were probably the last ones in, in the morning so had been used a lot!
Recycling bins would be good.

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch

Liked The play area was great for the children. The toilets and shower area was always clean. The cafe made lovely milk shakes. It wasn't very busy so plenty of space for the children to play frisbee etc near the tent. The campsite is in a beautiful setting. When we had a question my texts were answered which was very helpful.

Disliked The dogs barking lots during the day from the doggy day care in the next field may annoy some people but it didn't bother us. We were disappointed that the pizza barn wasn't open during the week, really wanted to try one, maybe next time. My boy stood in dog mess, but that was the dog owners fault not cleaning up after their dog not the camp site's fault.

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch

Liked Clean and tidy, friendly basic camping venue. Took my 6 Yr old for one night, he enjoyed the playground and seeing the farm animals, being in the countryside and the camping experience. Cafe and pizza barn were good additions. Toilets and showers were spot on!

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch

Liked - clean toilets and showers
- good location for lots of activities
- quiet and not too busy

Disliked - there’s a doggy day care right next to the pitches. The dog chorus early morning during the week was a bit grim.
- some broken bits in the playground
- didn’t find the device charging area as advertised. I sent a message asking but still no reply 4 days later.
- found the wifi password was the cafe wifi but only found this out in the last day of our stay.

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch

Liked Great cafe, lovely location.

Disliked We don't have a dislike for dogs, as we love them, but the site has a large dog park next to it, so you can hear dogs barking during the day. No issue for us, but I know some would be.

Local attractions

Feeling the spirit of the outdoors? Then, you have several options for outdoorsy days out. Umberslade Adventure (10 minutes' drive) is a family-friendly place with archery, zipwires, tree climbing and low ropes courses. While rowing boats will keep up some of the action in Stratford-upon-Avon (25 minutes), a more peaceful time might involve exploring Shakespeare’s Birthplace or catching a show at one of the three Shakespeare-inspired theatres. Cadbury World (30 minutes) in Birmingham will bring chocolate making into the mix. However, if it’s science you’re interested in, Thinktank Birmingham Science Museum (40 minutes) might be your first stop. There’s the West Midland Safari Park (45 minutes) too, for those who want to see some wildlife up close. When you fancy a visit to a historical place, Packwood House (15 minutes) is a local Tudor manor house, and Warwick Castle (25 minutes) has years of history and a knight’s village and turrets among other historic features.
