what can i say about Rue hill .. Firstly Lorraine was very friendly, chatty and helpful, showing us a map with places to visit .
the Campsite itself is basic (toilets, shower, water and waste ) but all you really need for a relaxing weekend away
the grounds are well maintained and well set up with plenty of space for football and no overlooking other visitors.
the local area is just WOW

i will be returning over and over again and recommending to others

thank you Lorraine for making us so welcome

On arrival we were greeted by the lovely owners who gave us a map of the local area, short walk recommendations along with good pubs to visit, talked through the facilities and left to pitch up. The camp site was lovely and clean, bins and recycling bins available and toilets cleaned regularly. Shower was a tad cold due to solar power but new shower block due to open sometime soon to sort that issue. Great location close to alton towers, would recommend this site.

    Everything was perfect for us.
It was full at the bank holiday weekend, still had plenty of room.
Loriane was excellent giving information and very helpful.
I like being self-sufficient with a little back up if you need it (toilet, showers, waste and pot washing) we didn't use them.

    Disliked:

Roads a little busy at opening and closing time for Alton Towers.

Really lovely welcome from the owner. . Gave lots of good advice about where to go in the area and provided us with a handy map too! Very clean, great facilities and apparently more showers to come soon. And love the fact that it’s eco friendly. Dog friendly and even provided us with a dog waste bin. Would definitely stay again.

    Disliked:

pitches were not marked or preallocatedso would be more difficult I suppose if going with more people with 2,3,4 tents? Otherwise nothing else I disliked.
