Liked: Really liked this campsite. Plenty of space for the kids to run around and site was well maintained. The facilities were clean and modern and in keeping with the barn. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Loved that we could have a fire pit and there were actual designated stone pits to sit round as well as portable ones which was nice as most sites don’t like fires.
Disliked: Toilet block was a bit on the cool side but it was very windy and cold when we visited so not a great surprise. Showers were hot and clean

Liked: Close to Alton Towers
Disliked: Pitches close to busy road. Shower block unheated single skin corrugated roof little more than a glorified cow shed with concrete floor. Building needs heating and a suspended insulated ceiling. No sides or back in washing up area leaving you exposed to the elements. Water tap 30 feet from hard standing so couldn’t reach it without getting on the very wet grass and risk getting stuck. No wi-fi and very poor mobile signal. Whole site quite exposed large open field. Definitely wouldn’t choose this site again.

Liked: Site within easy reach of many attractions. Only about an hour from Birmingham so ideal for a quick hop for the weekend.
Disliked: Hard standing pitches with electric right by the road.

Liked: The large field and goals for my son and his friend to play football on were great and there was plenty of space for them to cycle around.
Disliked: No pub or shop in walking distance.

Liked: Good location, clean and comfortable bathroom/shower facilities, hot and cold water on tap, drinking water on tap, spacious tent area, option to pitch on an area with trees and a large stone fire pit. Can also rent a fire pit and get everything you need for it! Very attentive, friendly, and helpful owners. Gave us a beautiful map for the area, took the time to tell us about the surroundings, and checked in with us after our stay.

Liked: Toilet and washing facilities. Host was really friendly and helpful aswell.
Disliked: There was a party or something going on when we went and they were extremely loud. I know it’s nothing by the host or location, it was just very loud and we were at the other end of the field and still heard them.
