I recently had a fantastic weekend…
Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked I recently had a fantastic weekend at Colemere Caravan Park, staying in a tent on an electric pitch. The park's serene atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made for a perfect getaway. The pitch was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with power, which made our experience very comfortable.
The facilities, including clean showers and toilets, were conveniently located and well-maintained. I loved being able to enjoy the stunning views of the lake, and the peaceful environment was ideal for relaxation.
The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a great stay. Colemere Caravan Park is a perfect choice for anyone looking for a tranquil camping experience.

A brilliant inexpensive site with loads of extras in the cabin.
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Our second time at this campsite and love it there. Plenty of areas to pitch the tent, the cabin is great with seating under cover, including benches, two sofas and dining tables. Also two fridges, a kettle, toaster and microwave. Everything kept spotlessly clean. Dave and Ingrid who run it are a lovely couple and very welcoming. Setting is great for bikers and walkers including dogs.
Disliked Nothing to dislike.

Great little site and will definitely visit again
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked I visited for my first solo camping adventure and the site is great. David gave me a map and list of the local area which was really helpful. The facilities were clean, communal area really nice and WiFi is a good bonus.
It’s well situated with lots of dog friendly walks, I did the 8 mile long route which was pretty flat and easy to walk (download OS maps as it was a bit tricky to follow without a map) via Welshampton with nice pubs along the route.
There is a shorter 45 minute walk into Ellesmere too
Disliked The site is hilly so lots of the pitches were uneven and my pans were sliding off the stove but not much they can do about that!
Also no phone signal, again not the sites fault, but download maps ahead of time

From the manager: Thanks for your review Lewis!
We would just like to add Lewis, you were given a choice to pitch on two fields that are non electric, apart from pitching were the cones are placed as these are electric pitches. Sorry that your pitched on a sloppy area, as there are flat pitches also.
Kind regards
Dave and Ingrid
