What customers say
This campsite is praised for its friendly staff, clean facilities, and pleasant countryside location, with many visitors highlighting the on-site cafe/bar and children's play area. However, some reviews mention dated shower/toilet blocks, inconsistent hot water, and occasional overcrowding when busy. Issues with bin management and a lack of toilet paper have also been noted.

Enjoyable stay with good facilities.
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Plenty of room. Pretty campsite. Very convenient cafe with good service and nice breakfast. Handy water taps in good locations.
Disliked Would have been nice to have a view if there was a better pitch available. Toilet paper in the loos would be very welcome!

Liked A peaceful site and the hot shower.
Disliked Hot water for washing up and a pitch that wasn’t muddy! The dogs paws, our footwear ended up covered in mud and so did the campervan.

Liked The place was nice, clean, and very green. There was a great playground beautifully situated among the trees, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a very quiet place, perfect for families with children. We will definitely be back.
Great place to relax .

Nice site but didn't feel welcome. Won't return.
Electric grass tent pitch (large)
Liked The site was clean and tidy. Peaceful and a good base for hiking. Facilities were ok showers and toilets were fine and adequate number for a relatively full site. Nothing fancy but did the job. Fire pits and bbq allowed. Children and dogs welcome.
Disliked Communication. Received a confirmation email and it sounded hostile. Not a friendly tone more a list of rules break it and we will yell and shout until you leave. Felt on edge for the start of the stay.
Pitches are marked by 1 post so hard to see your whole pitch. 25 meter cable didn't reach nearest point but it already had all sockets in use anyway. After the email I did not want to speak to the site warden so we went without.
Shop is never open you have to arrange an appointment. The cafe is a seperate business but if that's closed there are no food options without driving 3 miles minimum for takeaway.

Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Really nice site, very tidy and clean. We were very lucky with our pitch, close to the toilet block and in the corner so sheltered and fairly private.
Great location for doing the Clarkson trilogy
Disliked Shop open , hot water at the outside washing up area.
