Non-electric grass pitch

Liked Reception team very friendly and helped me with a late check out after a family emergency.
I’ve been here before but this was my first time camping alone and I felt very safe and secure.

Disliked The hand dryer in the ladies doesn’t work in the evenings

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass pitch

Liked Relaxed clean site, fishing great set up.
Friendly staff.
Safe dog walking area in a lovely setting.

Disliked Local pub is a bit of a walk along the road without a pavement. Not the fault of the site but worth mentioning.

Electric grass pitch

Liked The reception staff were helpful and the pitch was good. All the usual amenities were available, but as we only stayed the 2 nights and were visiting relatives off-site for most of our stay, we didn't even look at the fishing or anything else.

Disliked The approach road was very narrow and I would hate to have met a large truck!
Additionally, (beyond the sites' control) diversions around the extensive works for HS2 were very poor and the road surfaces are attrocious!

Electric grass pitch

Liked We stayed for the weekend whilst we visited Silverstone Festival, The site was quiet, with clean toilets & washing facilities. Staff were very helpful. We had our dog with us & there was plenty of areas to walk him. I would highly recommend this site & would definitely go back there.

Local attractions

Plenty of shops, restaurants, pubs and cafés are in Glebe Leisure's local town of Bicester within a couple of miles, and designer clothes and accessories in the outlet shopping centre Bicester Village. Glebe is the closest site to Bicester Heritage, the first park in the UK for the tender loving restoration care of classic and vintage cars, motorbikes and planes, all on over 345 acres of an old RAF bomber station. The centre's been described as 'a historic motoring fan's idea of heaven' so do speed along there if old engines make your motor hum. Twelve miles from the site is simply smashing Blenheim Palace, given to the first Duke of Marlborough by Charlie 2 and handed down through the Churchill family to reach one Winston some decades back. You really should have a trip... Also within 12 miles are another few British institutions: the dizzying array of arty treasures at the National Trust's Waddesdon Manor; Broughton Castle at Banbury, and days out spectating fast types at Silverstone Circuit.
