Liked We only stayed one night but found it to be a nice, clean site. The lady that welcomed us was very friendly and briefed us on what we needed to know. The pub down the road was excellent, modern with a great menu and fab food.

Disliked Nothing we found everything to our satisfaction.

Liked The reception staff and cleaners do a great job and are lovely. Toilets and showers kept spotless.

Disliked Gravel instead of tarmac roads.( difficult to walk on with my husbands disability. Water taps below ground on the pitch we were on and.my husband is disabled, which was declared on my booking and it was very difficult for him to get up and down to reach the tap. Our pitch was very uneven, couldnt even level it fully with ramps. People driving past our motorhome door on the grass to shortcut to their pitch. Shop not effective as barely anything stocked.

Liked We always enjoy this spot. We travel from Somerset to the North East frequently and this is a perfect stop to break the journey. We always leave saying we want to stay longer and explore more of the local area.
Friendly staff, well stocked shop. Beautifully maintained site, excellent shower block, one of the best. Great location and easy access from the motorway. We tow a twin-axle, 8 meter van on the back of a pickup, no problems with local roads. There's a great gastropub at the end of the road (5 monute walk) that we always look forward to. All in all, a great location and worth a visit :)

Liked We had a nice big level pitch which was sheltered when the wind got up,very quiet,toilets and showers clean and lovely hot water. So convenient for the wonderful cycling trails and also 5 minutes walk from the nice pub

Disliked There wasn’t much useful information in the information room and the staff didn’t seem to know about the trails etc
