  • Touring park a couple of minutes' drive from Skegness beach
  • Spacious family-friendly site; pets welcome too
  • Secure site with well-equipped touring pitches
Set up back in 2016 on open farmland just on the outskirts of Lincolnshire seaside capital Skegness: if you want busy and seaside town days along with days among green Lincolnshire countryside, petite and clean Skegness Fields is a well-placed pick. Pitches are hardstanding ones for tourers and motorhomes, and come with electric hook-up and a water point. The smart facilities include a swish shower and toilet block, washing-up area and chemical disposal. As it's a family-friendly site, Skegness Fields has plenty of room for kids to roam and grownups to relax; it's a safely-kept site too, with a fully secure barrier entry system. The sands of Skegness are a couple of minutes' drive, a leisurely stroll or a quick bus ride away.

What customers say

This well-maintained site offers spacious, level pitches with excellent, clean facilities, including modern showers and toilets. Staff are consistently praised for being friendly and helpful. Located a convenient walk or short drive from Skegness, it's ideal for exploring the area. While most guests enjoy a peaceful stay, some note occasional road noise due to its proximity to a main road. Wi-Fi is reportedly poor.

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Upon arrival the receptionist was polite and helpful.
Just 10 min walk down the road is a pub and Tesco Express.
Pitches are large and well spaced.
Price very reasonable for mid August.

Disliked The site is located alongside the A158, the main road into and out of Skegness, so during the day there is continuous traffic noise.
Proliferation of weeds across the campsite, even through the gravel pitches, site has an air of neglect and indifference, there was a fair amount of litter scattered across site too.
Toilets though modern don't appear to be cleaned regularly.

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Its a nice little caravan park, clean and well maintained, good for adults but not too good for kids as its very basic. Toilets and showers cleaned regularly.

Disliked I wouldn't say disliked but we were a family of 5 and nothing yo do onsite other than a very small play park. It was quite far from Skegness beach, not walkable, but we knew that when we booked.

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked Nice little site, toilet block kept clean and good showers. Decent sized pitches and friendly accommodating staff. We'd visit again but would probably request a pitch further away from the road (light sleepers). Very good value for money.

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked Het sanitair

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked Great little site
Modern shower block

Disliked Poor camping area could do with better access road .
Better landscaping it’s like they just had a last thought for camping pitches .
There’s a massive pile of stone dumped at side of field that kids play on but a bit more thought on the area would make it better .
Half hour walk into skeg which is perfect for me .
More regular cleaning of shower blocks please .
You want my money and returning custom?
Then improve the camping area
Bigger hedges would help with the main road noise .

Local attractions

Wander, take the car, or get the bus that stops just across the road from Skegness Fields to seaside town Skegness for days of coast and sand. The beach, sea and pier will likely be many folks' first stops (probably followed by a bag of hot fish and chips or an ice cream on the sands), but do take time too to get to the town's other top attractions, like the Natureland Seal Sanctuary and the fab and wild Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve just outside the centre. From Skegness, travel along the coast to Ingoldmells for a knuckle-tightening time at Fantasy Island, the mammoth amusement park with the world’s longest suspended rollercoaster and Europe’s longest looping rollercoaster. (A mammoth indoor market is also in town to totter to if you need to soothe yourself afterwards.) Other options around the sea and Lincolnshire are trips further along the coast to Sutton on Sea, Mablethorpe and on to Saltfleet, and inland to the walks and bike rides of the flat Wolds, or staggering under the weight of piles of newly purchased produce at Lincolnshire's market towns like Louth, Alford and Horncastle.
