Modern shower block, regularly cleaned. A good 30 mins walk to Beach front , but doable.

Me gustó nice big pitches

No me gustó toilet block not clean.they were spotless when we arrived on the Saturday morning. However, i don't believe they were cleaned again. We left early Tuesday morning. on the Sunday two out of the four toilets in the ladies block had toilet roll. i did phone and also reported to the reception. They were filled up early Monday morning. For the size of the camping fields the shower/toilet blocks should be checked 2-3 times a day.

Me gustó Camp site receptionist very helpful and friendly.
Site very tidy and clean. Nice play area for the kids. Nice and peaceful at night.
Very close to bus stops to go into the beach area and shops.

No me gustó Ran out of toilet paper and floor in the shower block were quite dirty so much so that my son refused to use the shower.

Me gustó We really love coming to this site as staff are welcoming and friendly on reception. It’s in a really lovely location and so peaceful…. Doesn’t feel like we have only travelled 30mins from home!! Close to Skegness sea front or Ingoldmells too for days out etc. However we were a little disappointed with some of the facilities on this site. Which I will explain in further in the dislike section.

No me gustó 1) cleanliness of the toilets / showers. I strongly believe that you need to be attending the toilets on a much more regular basis as numerous times I went to use these facilities they were disgusting with pooh all over the toilets which you would not want to have to sit on and use!!! Also no toilet roll available in the holders which led to me having to call my husband and get my daughter to come to the toilet and bring me some to use!!! The showers were also dirty which made me think that these are never cleaned properly at all, and I would suggest that you put a squeegee mop in each toilet block so guests can clean the shower area after use and not leave full of bubbles and dirty water/ foot prints.
I know that at other sites that we have stayed at the toilets being cleaned are closed at certain times so they can be cleaned throughly. And then checked on a regular basis throughout the day.

2) Showers were either scolding hot or freezing cold on every occasion!! This needs to be investigated

3) My daughter is Neurodiverse and really struggles to shower in public places so we requested for a key to access the disabled toilet. On entry I was really disappointed within this area there was the most disgusting smell which I really struggled with let alone my daughter who has severe sensory issues!!! And the floor was disgusting and had a massive puddle by the toilet (hate to think what it could have been) which was literally entering into the shower space, which I tried to wash away with the shower but didn’t really make a difference as was not powerful enough to push it into the drain! (Again having a squeegee mop would have helped massively as I could have pushed it into to the drain!!!)
Then it is not very accommodating with no shelf or hooks to be able to hang / hold your clothing / towels etc which led to having to balance everything on top of the dispensary bin!!!! Which is not hygienic at all and really un supportive towards people needing to use this area!!! Also when using the shower we used the shower that you can alter the height of the shower head however the fixed shower was constantly dripping freezing cold water on to my daughters head again she could not cope with this and her shower was a complete disaster and she refused to shower for the rest of the holiday!!! This definitely 100% needs improving making it a much more welcoming and nicer experience for people who have a disability and need to use this facility!!!! Also there is no shower curtain to put around you whilst showering to provide privacy and dignity that they deserve to have (yes the door is locked but my daughter was feeling very vulnerable not being able to cover herself incase another person happened to be able to unlock the door and walk in on her!!)
4) Ball games in the play area, my daughter was really frightened to play in the play area due to other children playing with footballs within this area and kicking them as hard as they possibly could anywhere in this area. This is just an accident waiting to happen as there were younger children enjoying this area unaware of the balls being kicked and if this had hit them it would have really hurt them!! If balls are allowed then I would suggest you create a specific area for this away from the play area!

No me gustó The people using the facilities, have no respect for the cleaners. Soiled underwear left in the cubicles, used toilet paper on the floor. Someone hit my car. We left a day early.

Me gustó The location was nice with easy access to skegness.

No me gustó The camp pitches is poorly laid out making it awkward to pitch up a tent and park up on your section with issues getting of the pitch when more people arrived.

Also the toilets were disgusting on our trip, it was left in a terrible state and not kept clean, there wasnt even any toilet roll for a full day in any of the stalls.
