Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

  • Touring park a couple of minutes' drive from Skegness beach
  • Spacious family-friendly site; pets welcome too
  • Secure site with well-equipped touring pitches
Set up back in 2016 on open farmland just on the outskirts of Lincolnshire seaside capital Skegness: if you want busy and seaside town days along with days among green Lincolnshire countryside, petite and clean Skegness Fields is a well-placed pick. Pitches are hardstanding ones for tourers and motorhomes, and come with electric hook-up and a water point. The smart facilities include a swish shower and toilet block, washing-up area and chemical disposal. As it's a family-friendly site, Skegness Fields has plenty of room for kids to roam and grownups to relax; it's a safely-kept site too, with a fully secure barrier entry system. The sands of Skegness are a couple of minutes' drive, a leisurely stroll or a quick bus ride away.

Liked Spacious pitches, plenty of room for campers all shapes and sizes, nice and peaceful shower and toilet blocks are really nice and well looked after

Disliked Would benefit from some sort of door/barrier between the shower and the changing room to stop your stuff getting showered on but cant really fault the facilities

FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite

Liked Clean tidy site with all the facilities you would want and expect. Full service pitches at a reasonable price.

Disliked Water temperature was as hot as we Seoul’s like. For showering or for washing up. Showers get very wet, could do with a mop or squeegee to dry the floor for dressing.
Pitches could be noisy, from road.

FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite

Liked Beautiful pitches. Spacious and all amenities of water and electric on your pitch. Staff are warm welcoming and always willing to help if they can.
I’m a returning customer of many stays.

Disliked Unfortunately this year. The showers for 2 days running male and female were ice cold. Plus the ladies block hadn’t been cleaned in 3 days, I’ve never had this before and at a premium price of £55 a night I would expect better. The area for rubbish disposal was also very untidy rubbish and food waste all on the floor. This is other campers and shame on them making the site like that!
That being said I will return and hope that these errors don’t occur again. As this is a great site and was such a shame as these are easily rectified problems.

Local attractions

Wander, take the car, or get the bus that stops just across the road from Skegness Fields to seaside town Skegness for days of coast and sand. The beach, sea and pier will likely be many folks' first stops (probably followed by a bag of hot fish and chips or an ice cream on the sands), but do take time too to get to the town's other top attractions, like the Natureland Seal Sanctuary and the fab and wild Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve just outside the centre. From Skegness, travel along the coast to Ingoldmells for a knuckle-tightening time at Fantasy Island, the mammoth amusement park with the world’s longest suspended rollercoaster and Europe’s longest looping rollercoaster. (A mammoth indoor market is also in town to totter to if you need to soothe yourself afterwards.) Other options around the sea and Lincolnshire are trips further along the coast to Sutton on Sea, Mablethorpe and on to Saltfleet, and inland to the walks and bike rides of the flat Wolds, or staggering under the weight of piles of newly purchased produce at Lincolnshire's market towns like Louth, Alford and Horncastle.
