Liked The welcome was great! Even to the extent of the staff member nipping home to get us a pack of playing cards as we had forgotten ours! The facilities were lovely and clean. Most of all, even though we were on a well maintained and popular campsite, we were able to tuck ourselves into a corner and felt as though we were in the middle of nowhere. Hearing the muntjac barking into the night was great too. Only 25 mins from home, will definitely be back for an easy night away through the winter!

Liked We stayed here in September 25. We were made to feel most welcome and they couldn't do enough to make sure we had an enjoyable visit. Great views over the lake and we were able to choose where we pitched! They were also happy to let us leave at our leisure the next day and we enjoyed a walk around the lovely site. Probably the best toilet and shower facilities I have seen at a campsite. Highly recommend.

Liked Facilities were modern and exceptionally clean. Showers were fantastic.
Disliked With it being so close to the fishing lake there is at night quite a few mosquitos. Wasn't too much of a problem if you use citronella candles and deet spray. Just be mindful to use the fly screens on your tent/caravan.

So secure as well, brilliantly attentive staff monitoring the whole site. Phenomenal grounds to walk around, loved it

Disliked Nothing...oh ok, if I was bring picky the WiFi isn't the best, but who needs it really, you're on holiday and it's not exactly the fault of the these guys, plus the don't deserve the be knocked a couple of points off the ratings for it

Liked On arrival we had a very warm welcome which made us feel comfortable and looking forward to our stay from the first moment we arrived.
It is a quiet peaceful site with excellent facilities which were very clean and tidy.
We were sited near the lake and enjoyed the lake view during our stay.
There was also plenty of land for long country walks which we enjoyed while looking for the Green men.
