What customers say

This peaceful, clean, and well-maintained site offers beautiful surroundings with lakes and wildlife. Visitors praised the friendly and helpful staff, secure access, and spacious pitches. Facilities, particularly showers and toilets, were generally found to be clean and functional, with ample room. Located conveniently for Lincoln, it's ideal for relaxing breaks. Some minor criticisms included hard ground for pegs, occasional inconsistent shower temperatures, and reports of geese/duck poo on pitches. The fishing experience was mixed, with some finding lakes weedy and poorly stocked.

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked Loved our spot near the lake, nice and peaceful

Disliked Don't like toilet and showers men and ladies together l Also nowhere to put your shower gel etc.. When the floor is being mopped the water should be changed every time because it was being mopped with dirty water.so basically just putting dirt down again. Think they should close for a hour in a morning and same again at teatime to be cleaned properly

Electric grass tent pitch

Liked Peaceful surroundings, clean toilets and showers, the lake with ducks and geese (kids managed to catch a fish!) all staff accommodating and friendly.
The bus stop isn’t too far to walk to - catch a bus to Lincoln and Skegness.
This park is great for families with older children as there is no park on site. Bring lots of games as it’s good for no screen time.

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked Good pitches around lakes.
Clean toilet/ shower block.
Pleasant staff.
A short drive to Lincoln.
Bus stop a short walk away.

Disliked No motorhome service point for filling with fresh water and emptying grey waste.
Considering this is a family site there is no childs play area.
Fishing lakes need attention as they are just full of weeds.
Didn't use the WiFi as it wasn't free.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Close to the water and the toilet block
Everything you need in a motor home and a good size pitch
Toilets clean

Disliked Geese make a racket in the morning and evening but I don’t think they can do anything about them
The lakes could do with a lot of the weed removing then they could call them fishing lakes

Electric grass tent pitch

Liked The environment was absolutely beautiful. Lakes, willow trees and general well kept buildings (reception and lodges). The people on the park were friendly. The staff accommodated a LATE check in and were supper attentive. It’s located within 15 mins of Lincoln and roughly 40 minutes of Skegness so offered different types of days out. We would definitely come again.

Disliked Absolutely ridiculous that I’m writing this; they have geese on the park which are brilliant to watch, but it does come with a lot of geese poo…

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked Easy check in and key fob for the gates which made us feel safe.
Clean facilities.
Nice little dog walk area which our kids loved and saw lots of wildlife.
Great staff! The bloke that works weekends was great. Did a good job, warned us of the unsafe tree not far from us and were great with the kids!

If you’re going soon - the ground is very hard from the lack of rain. We struggled to get pegs in and out! Needed a claw hammer to pull the pegs up. This is the first time we’ve had this problem.

Disliked The showers need a major update.
We tried pretty much all the showers between us. Some were luke warm, some stayed on for a few sedans while others stayed on for 30 seconds. One shower was really hot - glad I didn’t take my children in there! Need showers that stay on and can control the temperature.

Local attractions

It's a hop, skip and a jump from the site to Woodside Wildlife Park (five minutes' drive), a local zoo with live feeding demonstrations where you can get up close and personal with an array of animals. More family-friendly animal antics are on hand at similarly nearby Rand Farm Park too (10 minutes), where there is also indoor and outdoor play for younger visitors. Look to Lincoln (15 minutes) for days out with grownups and older kids: it's got a castle, a cathedral, an ancient copy of the Magna Carta and excellent opportunities for shopping, dining and exploring old cobbled streets. If you liked being on your feet in Lincoln, head to the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (25 minutes) for more rambling, this time in the countryside, and take on some of the 76-mile Lincolnshire Wolds Way. Hearing the call of the coast? It's just under an hour to seaside towns like Cleethorpes, Skegness with its pier and Mablethorpe with its amusements.
