Liked: Friendly staff. Toilets were basic but very clean. Ideal location to visit Lincoln.

Disliked: Very muddy leading to pitch. Once on pitch was fine. Pitches are small.

Liked: Great welcome from the team, site and local information provided on arrival. Lovely quiet and secure site within easy walking distance of a pub and Woodside Wildlife Park (well worth a visit). Bus stop nearby for easy trip out to Lincoln. Facilities were clean and heated well enough to feel cosy even at -6. Would definitely stay again, thank you.

Disliked: Partner found the lake over run with weeds in parts so only a few pegs to be able to fish from

Disliked: Site access road needs pot holes filling in.everything else was good liked the campsite.

It's a hop, skip and a jump from the site to Woodside Wildlife Park (five minutes' drive), a local zoo with live feeding demonstrations where you can get up close and personal with an array of animals. More family-friendly animal antics are on hand at similarly nearby Rand Farm Park too (10 minutes), where there is also indoor and outdoor play for younger visitors. Look to Lincoln (15 minutes) for days out with grownups and older kids: it's got a castle, a cathedral, an ancient copy of the Magna Carta and excellent opportunities for shopping, dining and exploring old cobbled streets. If you liked being on your feet in Lincoln, head to the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (25 minutes) for more rambling, this time in the countryside, and take on some of the 76-mile Lincolnshire Wolds Way. Booking terms and conditions

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
At least one of the party members must be aged 21 or over.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).

General

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Quiet hours must be respected between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The fishing lakes are stocked with Carp, Rudd, roach, barble.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
This site Does have a catch-and-return fishing policy in place.

Occupancy

Bookings must not consist of more than 2 different households.
The site caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.

Pitches

A cable measuring at least 25 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.
You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

Reception

Reception is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. between 01/11 and 28/02.
Reception is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. between 01/03 and 31/10.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Firearms are not permitted.
Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.
Open fires are prohibited.
Swimming in the lake is not allowed.

Taxes

This area is not subject to city tax.

Vehicles

Only one car is to be parked by the pitch. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.
