Liked We’ve just returned from our two-day stay at Sunflower Park, which was recommended to us by a friend – and I’m absolutely thrilled with this place! It’s my favorite campsite so far. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful, and it’s clear they put their whole heart into running this park. You can truly feel the soul of the place.
Everything is well-organized and you’ll find all you need to have a great time. I was there with my family, including three children aged 9, 12, and 13, and everyone found something to enjoy. There’s a great playground with trampolines, a fishing pond, and friendly animals. The freely roaming geese add a lot of charm to the atmosphere.
There’s also a bar, food available to buy, and a small shop on-site. The live music in the evenings adds a wonderful touch to the overall vibe. We’re already looking forward to coming back! Brzmi nasturaknie?

Liked Only planned to stay one night but stayed 3 instead as we had to go home! ☹️ what a delight to find this little treasure. Its a rescue centre first and foremost and then camping site second. It has everything you would need and more with a lovely warm welcome from Ian and Josie and the team. Its like a little community which is a beautiful atmosphere. They have all the facilities showers, toilets, waste, fresh water, little shop without the camp site £££, bar, cafe/breakfast bar, play park, dog run to let dog off lead. You have the choice of electric or non electric pitches. Lots of animals to see from donkeys, pigs, ferrets, rabbits, peacocks to my favourite Highland cow. Lots more to mention, all rescued and have a story but are loved beyond now. Amazing for my family who consists of grumpy husband, chronic pain wife, ASD 11 year old daughter and 3 fur babies xx
Disliked We disliked absolutely nothing. Part from packing up to leave!!

Liked Having just returned home from our 5th stay at Sunflower Park, I need to express how much my family love this place!
Never have I been to a site so child friendly and safe, its wonderful to watch my children run free and embrace farm life without an ounce of technology in site. Josie, Ian and the team are super friendly and approachable and present all day, everyday working hard on the site. Special thankyou to Alicia who let my son help her with tending to the animal everyday and never got tired of answering his 500 question about every animal on site !
Cafe served delicious food at reasonable prices. Play park has recently been upgraded and kept the children entertained for hours. Fishing lake was a big hit with the teenage boys who enjoyed spending there days finishing. Overall we absolutely love this place and booked our next trip before we left. Thanks for a great trip Sunflower Park and we will see you next summer!
Disliked GOING HOME!!

Liked This site is amazing, lovely chilled friendly atmosphere, staff on hand when needed and nothing is any trouble for them despite them all being busy attending to the animals.
The animals where great to watch all with their own personalities kept us entertained all week. The play park is great for the kids, great priced shop on site too.
The toilets and showers were clean to the standard you expect on a campsite.
Would definitely recommend this site and we will definitely be returning.
Disliked The wasp issue could do with addressing obvious a couple of nests nearby. However we never got stung, they were just really annoying and couldn't really enjoy a quite cuppa outside without been bothered.
The fact there's no "quite time" one family were being really loud until 2am. Other sites we've stayed on have "quite time" from 11pm as not everyone wants to be kept awake all night.

From the manager: Hi. Thank you for your kind words. After speaking to a lot of our friends who live in the local area the wasp issue is all over unfortunately not just here but we know what you mean as they as doing our heads in aswell. We do have a quiet time of 10pm it is marked on a sign on the outside of the decking area as you enter in the bar / shop area. If you had called us we would have come and dealt the the noise so apologies 🌻
Was a great experience the first few times but now has deteriated

Liked Fishing was great, our friends kids loved it, also feeding animals, love being able to have campfires
Disliked Very sandy pitches, wasps around in there 100's, rude notices put up about children being dirty (but due to sand this cant be helped) and must wash them in dog cleaning area before going in shower, toilets and showers wasn't clean, rotting vegetable smell from pig areas, animals now put in ball game area so no place for kids to play football, pitches uneven, obscene sticker in toilet that children use
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: Sorry you feel like this
The wasps we have no control about. They are an issue everywhere. Not just here..
Children being children get dirty when playing . The notices refer to the extremes of this where some children are held to foot in filth, due to doing things they shouldnt be.
They then go in the wetrooms. Trash them and leave it an obsolete mess for others to find.
Thst isn't on.
Facilities are regularly cleaned but can't be constantly cleaned.
Since the notices we have not have any occurrences so they obviously work or we have respectful families here this week.
Pigs make smells. Veg in heat smells. We are a working farm rescue.
We have taken on emus and the safest place is thre ball play area however there is plenty of space plus the dog run when not in use.
The obscene sticker has been created by someone defacing a friendly sticker. That's obviously our fault hey.
Sticker is now removed.
Someone else thst are faceless and unable yo talk to us
