Polubione Individual toilets and showers, although they weren’t at all clean, I did like that they weren’t part of a ‘block’ which gave more privacy. Each of the EHU pitches had their own bench. Fishing shop on site. Some of the animals very friendly and my daughter was able to hold one when the staff were there, the small shop inside the bar is very fairly priced, as is the fishing shop.

Niepolubione Toilets not cleaned during our stay, there was a dirty towel and wash cloth in there for 3 days. Only 2 toilet/showers had working lights, bins overflowing and covered in flies, goose shit EVERYEWHERE so kids couldn’t run about or play with footy etc, over booked our stay so only hard standing pitch available despite us booking grass pitch in advance, animal enclosures not really fit for purpose. Donkeys only had stagnant, green water, in 30 degree weather - the family next door to us took them some fresh water.
The smell is not nice, obviously they are a farm and some smell is to be expected, but we have stayed on farms/animal rescues and never had any problems with smells.
Owners dogs barking 24/7 as left in garden at the top of farm- I have 3 dogs so am used to barking dogs, they were relentless on a night.
The whole farm is very sandy/dirty as mentioned in previous reviews, we weren’t keen on that but didn’t make things too bad; kids however get filthy when playing- there is also a quite aggressive sign about ‘minging and dirty’ kids in the bathroom.
Some springs are missing on the trampoline in the park, very dangerous if a little leg goes down there.
We still paid £50 for fishing, despite finding out that the owner pulled 60lbs of dead fish out of the pond a couple of days before we arrived, not a well stocked lake, didn’t catch many at all- under 10 over 4 days. Campers next to us paid and went to a fishing lake close by instead.

Toilets not wasn't in four days.!!! On the days josie was not rushed into hospital josie washed them every day. The day she was rushed into hospital I, Ian washed them.
The towel and wash towel was hung outside on the rail to try and be reclaimed rather than simply being binned.
The bins were overflowed because the addition bins requested from the council were delivered late. But we had already removed the surplus rubbish out of sight.
What was your reason that you left your full bags of rubbish on your pitch, for others to remove?
We have had no rain nor any grass to mow.
As such there is more goose mess than usual but that said I observed your family playing football on a of occasions. I too moved the benches back for others to use following them being moved for kids to play football !!.
They day before your arrival and discussed a number of options, including a grass pitch area, so disappointed that you have been very selective on this issue.
DEFRA & RSPCAhave worked very closely with us over the last 12 months and we have a clean bill of health.
Apologies that you are more qualified and higher than thou , seemingly knowing better than both these governing bodies.
Donkeys get fresh water twice a day. But if you had any concerns why not raise it with their carers rather than use it as part of your keyboard assassination.

The dogs at the top are not even out at night so another factual inominally.
If you had followed our social media you eoild have known that we have extensively ripped up and regressed all area.
We unfortunately have had no rain in over 3 months. So like the rest of the country we are agsin very dusty. Please ask God for some rain when you are next discussing the righteousness.
Sadly we did lose some fish due to air pressure and oxygen levels.
Yes we did lose approx 60lb but for a lake as large and stocked as ours this is a minimal amount.
Despite your claim the lake is well stocked.
This is based on fact, your so called fact is based on you not catching.

Plenty of campers and school kids have caught fish this week.
I have literally just come away ftom the lake where a new beginner has just caught 4 fish in no time and his mate 18 in last hour or so.
Please dont use your lack of skill or talent to judge a venue.
It is not uncommon to visit other fisheries.
I do that myself when away fishing.
I have recommended local fisheries to many campers as I know how good they are.
Why wouldn't I?

So many points of your review are lies and false claims, not opinion.
As such I disputed it but without Pitchup giving me a fair and equal chance to respond they have republished this review without even talking to me. Despite me providing my number.
A number that they have now published, breaching GDPR. But what do we matter. We only make them their money.

Polubione We loved our stay and definitely coming back. Lovely lovely place. Plenty of animals (happy ones) play area, bar, shop, the showers and toilets were very well looked after, hosts were amazing, all 5 ⭐️ from mums and their children (age 4-7)

Polubione Stayed 2 nights in our motorhome.
Perfect flat pitch with power close to amenities and bar! Our 10yr old loved all of the animals And didn’t want to leave!
Such a great short stay. The owners were so warm, helpful and friendly.

Polubione This campsite is like no other I have ever stayed on.
We stayed in the wild camping area which was a bit like staying on a farm which is based on a beach with trees 🤣

The gaggle of geese parading about the site en mass leaving little 'land mines' in their wake. The sound of the booming emus. The yoga practicing alpaca. The goat and sheep butting heads figuratively and literally. Its all a bit mad, as are the people and WE LOVED IT ALL!

It's sandy. It is a little smelly. The bathrooms are not immaculately clean...but who cares?

Scrumpy on the patio outside the bar-cum--shop-cum-cafe-cum-clubhouse. Pizzas delivered to the picnic table and football and good craic and a warm welcome from all.

If you want immaculate facilities this might not be for you.

If you're the type of person who likes to lean into a bit of a crazy adventure, embraces having dirty feet, enjoys the rather perverse act of cooking bacon in front of the pig paddock, a fab pint of scrumpy, and a fab full English...get booking. Sunflower Park and The Crazy Gang are waiting to welcome for you.

Polubione Reading through the reviews it is obvious that Sunflower Park is the marmite of campsites. What I hope to give here is an honest review the resolves the mass question: Sunflower Park, yay or nay?
We have been to Sunflower Park two years running. Sunflower Park advertises itself as a rough and ready family run campsite centred around its love of animal rescue, and family values: kid friendly, respectful, and fun.
Even with the England match on over the weekend, and the onsite bar hosting a viewing with beer and pizza, the campsite was still peaceful and quiet the whole time.
The staff at Sunflower Park are friendly and welcoming, and so happy to talk about their animals, their passion, and what is essentially, their home. Ian has a wild past life if you ask him about it!
Jason is a fantastic guy, another core part of the Sunflower Park family, who welcomed and chatted with our 3yo whenever he saw her. She was delighted!
Lots of reviews mention that Sunflower Park is “run down”. In all honesty, I can see why people are saying this, but I don’t think it’s fair. Is it run down, or is it just well used? The facilities aren’t brand spanking new, sure, but they are cleaned daily and well looked after. The playground is well loved, safe, and utterly delightful. My daughter loved the trampoline and tires best!
Yes of course there are things that need sorting: the old off limits trampoline is ring fenced with danger tape and needs removing; the pigs need a better more robust shelter; BUT, nothing is unsafe and these things are already on the Sunflower Park radar as they seek to sort and fix things.
Sunflower Park is not like campsites which are run as a business detached from the family. Sunflower Park is where Josie and Ian and their friends and family, all live. And when you visit Sunflower Park, you visit their home. So yes, it is a bit crazy and bit quirky (the commitment to the sunflower theme is phenomenal and hilarious, complete with fake sunflower paraphernalia everywhere, Josie’s tattoos, and Ian’s black tank tops sporting garish sunflower prints on the front), and it is FULL of character. But that’s honestly why we love it. It is rough, ready, authentic, friendly, welcoming, well loved, and full of joy.
If you are looking for a clinical and pristine campsite, Sunflower Park is not for you. If you want to be woken up by a hoard of geese, drink your coffee whilst watching the pigs, donkeys, Shetland ponies, goats, highland cows, and emus go about their day: this is the campsite for you.
Our daughter was delighted and excited every morning to go and say hello to the animals. She was safe and happy, and we as a result had a relaxed and fantastic time.

Polubione Good simple no frills site, Great for the kids, lots of farm animals so see and feed, woods and a park to play in and everyone is friendly, there's also large flock of geese wondering around to keep the kids on their toes 😀
