Lovely site. Middle of nowhere so great for stargazing.Would return.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked I had a lovely big pitch, the site was nicely maintained, the lovely little bar etc was a bonus, and the visiting fish and chip van and pizza van were a great idea, the fish was the best I have had in ages. I loved the proximity to the dunes and beach.
Disliked There should be more toilets and showers for such a lot of visitors. Also the ladies loos ran out of toilet paper for several hours.

Electric grass pitch
Liked Pitch was a very good size. Site was clean. Facilities were ok.
Disliked No staff member greeted you to explain about the facilties and where everything was or anything else for that matter. The water in the washing up sinks was barely warm. I was told that the showers were the same too.

A little pricey for 2 night stay.
Electricity feed to the charging station was poor.

Great family site. Located 15 minutes walk from the beach and pub.
Electric grass pitch
Liked Everything, they had thought of everything to make our stay just easy. On-site laundry, food vans, bar, bats and balls etc. highly recommend this site. We will be back. The site was silent by 10pm every night. Lovely family site with immaculate facilities. My recommendation for anyone that likes a lay in the mornings is to ask to be away from the road, it’s not unpleasant but the pitches are separated by just a high hedge so you get the odd bit of noise in the mornings. Nothing major and certainly wouldn’t put me off returning, but I’m sure they’d accommodate that request.
Disliked Nothing

Excellent family camp site
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Plenty room on the assigned pitches, great facilities and food available on some nights (all of which was good). Friendly hosts and close to a great beach

Will deffo be coming back in the future 😀
Electric grass pitch
Liked Fantastic family camping site. Quiet and peaceful. Large pitches so personal space is guaranteed, laundry facilities and fridge-freezer available to use. Loos were clean.
Friendly campers too ... no music blasting or dogs running wild or weed smells drifting on every breeze as is sadly common in alot of places.
Bar open in the evening and food vans appear on certain nights.
15mins walk to beach across the nature reserve. Beach is vast and largely empty.
Disliked If anything, a few extra showers wouldn't go amiss, and requiring an outside pre-shower hosedown to wash off sand from children(mostly) to minimise the amount of it in the shower tray ... as a couple of nights it was like standing on the beach in those cubicles which subsequently caused blockages in the trays and water all over the floor.
Also most nights the loo roll in most (ladies) toilets had run out before bed so bring a roll just in case the warden doesnt slap two rolls in the holder.

i really really enjoyed my stay and will 100% be returning
Electric grass pitch
Liked The site was easy to find and it had loads of facilities to sad it was only tents there. It was super child and dog friendly. The location was perfect for day trips and only a 10 minute walk to a quiet beach. There was a public foot path coming straight out of the camp which again was perfect for the dogs

Brilliant spot, we will come back!
Electric grass pitch
Liked Loved the open field, location and hygiene. Lots of facilities too - some weren’t open but we were still impressed they were there. Good communication as well with a welcome email.
Disliked Kids cutting through the hedges behind our tent constantly, running right through our pitch. Not many showers and some are rubbish water pressure. All not great with temperature consistency but that’s standard with camping really.
