Wake up a short wander from the Lincolnshire coast with a stay at Creekside Family Camping in Anderby. This site is 10 minutes’ walk from the beach at Anderby Creek and about 20 minutes’ walk from Wolla Bank, with the added bonus of being surrounded by the wildlife haven of the Lincolnshire Coastal Country Park. The family has farmed this land for three generations and are happy to share insider tips on where to go and what to do when you visit. If it's traditional seaside shenanigans you're after – fairgrounds, arcades, donkey rides and all the rest – Ingoldmells and Skegness are along the coast within about 20 minutes’ drive. Roll up at this relaxed site and you'll be staying on a pretty meadow surrounded by mature hedges and trees. It’s family and dog-friendly with plenty of space to run around and play with a separate field for ball games. If you need provisions or fancy an easy bite to eat, there’s a bar and restaurant, café and general store by the beach at Anderby Creek. Firepits, wood and kindling are available on site and you’re welcome to set up a small campfire so you can gather round, sit back and enjoy the huge Lincolnshire skies. The stars at night are usually quite something, and there's only minimal interference from the fairy lights around the place (a torch is a handy thing to have though…). This may be a pop-up site but it's got the vibe of a glamping setup, all decked out with bunting and pretty decorations. Guests have access to proper ceramic flushing loos, a portable shower block with proper showers, drinking water points, a washing-up area, phone charging point, freezer for ice blocks and a dog wash.

Grand spot for dogs, with spotless amenities and close to sandy beaches. Pitches are vast, there's a secure dog run, and the on-site food is handy. Lovely, chill atmosphere and tidy grounds make for a proper relaxing break. Peaceful place, with loads wanting to come back.

Liked Enclosed dog field to let the dogs have a run after a long journey.
Showers, toilets available nice and clean. Short distance from most pitches.
Drinking water available.
Different routes to the lovely sandy beaches.
Beach cafe very short walk serving lovely food and coffee.
Perfect Location not far to drive to Skegness Mablethorpe etc . Pleasant scenery on site.
Love how dog friendly it is!
Met lots of people that return to this site and I can see why! I would definitely chose to come back here, I even booked an extra night when I was there as it was perfect!

Disliked Pick your own pitch is great but if you are in a campervan and decide to drive somewhere for the day.. when you get back to camp someone else has taken your pitch as there’s no way of reserving it unless you put up a tent maybe. But still lots of choice left.

Liked Great facilities. Modern clean toilets and shower block. (Free including soap/ shampoo etc) Fridge freezers and laundry room. Bar and hot food and even a bit of patchy WiFi. All for £11 per night. What is there not to like ..??
Plenty of elbow room mid week. Our 3rd visit there.

Liked Nice big flat pitches, lovely little honesty box shop with logs and firepits available to use, food van on site, plenty of options with the showers and toilets, laundry area, freezer & charging points all very handy! the fairy lights on the fences and hedges where a nice touch and signposted walk to the beach was helpful

Disliked The toilets and showers where fairly dirty and had swarms of children playing in them and climbing under cubicle doors whilst people where using them! Not the campsites fault at all but it made the facilities hard to use

Local attractions

The wild sand dunes of Anderby Creek beach are a 10-minute stroll away. In the summer it splits into dog-free and dog-friendly areas, so there’s space for everyone. More beachy gems within 10 minutes’ drive include Huttoft, Wolla Bank, Marsh Yard, Chapel Six Marshes and Chapel Point. Holiday big-hitters Ingoldmells (10 minutes’ drive) and Skegness (20 minutes) are filled with all the attractions you’d expect from a traditional British seaside resort and have enough to keep the whole family happy whatever the weather. There’s more family fun to be had in Mablethorpe at Lincolnshire Aqua Park (20 minutes) with pedalos, paddleboarding, kayaks and a giant floating assault course for the more adventurous. Keen walkers should connect up with the Lincolnshire Coastal Path; a 20-mile walk from Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve in Skegness past the site to Mablethorpe. Birders will want to check out Anderby Coastal Grazing Marsh too (two minutes’ walk). And if the lure of the coast isn’t enough, there are also walking routes inland around the Lincolnshire Wolds and Hubbards Hills (30 minutes' drive).
