At family-friendly site The Thames Head Inn, four miles from Cirencester market town in the Gloucestershire Cotswolds, you definitely won't want to miss the chance. Thames Head is well-placed for exploring the spectacular Cotswolds on foot or by bike – the start of the Thames Path, which follows the world-famous river for 184 miles from source to sea, is half a mile from the site, and there are loads of cycles tours and walking routes starting in Cirencester and Tetbury, both within 10 minutes’ drive of the site. If that's not your scene, kick back on the dog-friendly site in the shade of the trees, soaking in the scenic and peaceful Cotswolds countryside, or take a relaxed stroll through the fields with Rex. Worked up an appetite? The site is in the grounds of the Thames Head Inn bar-restaurant, where food is served well into the evening and the drinks keep flowing until closing (remember to book a table, as mealtimes can get very busy). If you fancy fending for yourself, pick up supplies in Cirencester or Kemble – a 20-minute walk away – and fire up the barbecue. For a change of scenery – and menus – there are plenty of restaurants within 10 minutes of Thames Head.

Liked Lovely little site, pub and food were amazing. Very welcoming and dogs allowed. Very clean and tidy. A great base for visiting Tetbury by car.

Disliked Only one toilet with shower combined. Can use pub toilet but would be good to have two or a separate shower and toilet.

Liked Amazing little site, so if you're looking for a quieter more peaceful stay, this is your place. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, food is amazing, beautiful countryside walks for the dogs, could of happily stayed longer, will definitely be back for another visit soon.

Liked Espacios de grava y césped bien nivelados y amplios, personal muy amable en la recepción. El baño y ducha estaba limpio y perfecto para el uso. La comida en el Pub es muy buena. Recomendable 100%.
