What customers say
This is a small, friendly campsite located behind a country pub. Visitors consistently praise the excellent food, friendly staff, and the well-stocked honesty shop. Facilities are basic but adequate, with options for pub toilets or an on-site static caravan. The location is ideal for exploring the Peak District, with plenty of nearby walks. Some minor road noise was noted, and the static caravan facilities are described as dated by some, though generally clean. Overall, it's recommended for its welcoming atmosphere and good value.

Disappointed
Non-electric hardstanding and grass pitch
Liked Location was lovely with brilliant views. Staff were lovely in the pub & made a great fuss of our fur baby. The on site shop was really useful & we used it several times.
Disliked right by a very busy road. Disappointed that the advertised 10am breakfast didn't materialise either Saturday or Sunday which rather spoilt the stay as we hadn't bought any food thinking we'd give the pub our business plus had to wait 1.5 hours for our dinner on Friday evening.
