Me gustó Great stay at the site. Cheap enough and facilities fine for the night. Good pub food next door but make sure to check your food bill before you leave !

No me gustó We’ve chosen the far right corner, there’s a pass between two fields, lots of pedestrians went up and down around our tent, slight discomfort to everyone.
There is an old caravan on site, facilities are in there. We found spotless toilets, but the sink in the ‘kitchen’ was dirty and all clogged up. I’ll keep rating to maximum, as other sites are charging more for less.

Me gustó Excellent small campsite, adjoining a lovely traditional country pub. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Toilets and showers both inside the pub, and in the static caravan alongside the pitches. I used the caravan facilities which were clean and free, with plenty of hot water. Perfect base for walking and cycling, with Castleton and Buxton nearby. Excellent food and beer in the pub, reasonably priced and generous helpings.

Me gustó The campsite was fine - only 4 pitches - facilities more than adequate. The little honesty shop is great but pricey.

No me gustó There is can adjacent campsite and the users there walk through this site to get to the pub. Table service in the pub is disorganised.

No me gustó Pub did not open at 10 am for breakfast as advertised. We waited until 1015 but had to leave.

Me gustó Excellent dog-friendly pub, welcoming staff & locals and very tasty food. Breakfast is available from 10:00am, which was a bonus.
Toilet & shower facilities available 24/7 and there is a small shop on site selling everything from fresh vegetables to ice cream.
The camping field is well maintained and quite level, with plenty of space per pitch.
A great walking area with spectacular views of the Peak District.
Free wifi in the pub and camping field.

No me gustó Some road noise at night, but not very frequent and not enough to spoil the experience.

Me gustó Lovely pub, very friendly staff and excellent food.
A big bonus was being able to get a cooked breakfast in the pub from 10am.
There is a small shop onsite, packed with essentials and treats.
The grass pitches are generous and reasonably level.
Toilets and a shower in the pub during opening and a static caravan with toilets and a shower for after hours.
Free WiFi.
Dog friendly.
Child friendly.
Great area for walking.

No me gustó Slight road noise at night, but not enough to stop me going back again.

Me gustó Nice little camp site, good little shop if you forget something and has static caravan set up for toilets and shower if required.
Not even 1 minute walk to the pub :o)
Good beer and choice of excellent food
