What customers say
This campsite offers a great location near Gulliver's Land and Willen Lake, with friendly and helpful staff receiving consistent praise. Visitors appreciate the child-friendly atmosphere and numerous activities available. While many find the facilities clean and well-maintained, some describe them as dated. Issues with blocked toilets and muddy areas were noted during inclement weather. Limited parking near accommodation and occasional noise from nearby amenities were also mentioned.

Electric grass tent pitch (pet friendly)
Liked Tent camping spot number 9 is lovely,
Electric hookup in a wooded area.
Disliked Food was expensive and not much range in the onsite facilities.
Toilets and shower blocks were not the best.
Showers were red hot with zero temperature adjustments.
Toilets either didn’t flush or were filthy and full.

Electric grass tent pitch (pet friendly)
Liked It’s a great location. The site is close to Willen Park (water activities) and Gulliver’s Land. The reception staff were helpful when we needed to rebook owing to sickness.
Disliked Toilets - rarely cleaned and often lacked toilet paper (a nightmare with young children).
Trolleys - trolleys aren’t returned (not the sites fault necessarily) but a way to enforce hoarding of them needs to be fixed.

Excellent for what we needed and the price.
Woodland hideout camping pod
Liked Excellent little pod, very comfortable beds and surprisingly spacious, walked around the village and was impressed with the amount of variety of apartments to stay in. Shower room clean. Great that the little pod we had had electric too! For £50 a night was perfect place for us as we just wanted a bed for the night for an outside event we were going to. Would defo come back with our little people for a little holiday.
Disliked Check in was a little late 4pm and very expensive (£30) for an early check in. Got there at 3 and nothing was open to get a drink whilst waiting. Was directed off site to a restaurant to wait. Reception staff wasn’t the friendliest and coffee machine was broke (not the end of the world) was sent through to the restaurant to be sent back to reception to get coffee?
