Liked good sized and beautifully cleaned showers with good heat adjustment and pressure. Really kind and friendly staff and people who stay on the site. Liked Cleanliness and style of the facilities; toilets, showers, washing up area, disposal facilities and fire pit store. space allowed for each pitch\ signage for the village/woods/pub peace and quiet of the site relaxed atmosphere and kindness of fellow campers the proximity of a local shop and village that can be walked to in 20mins

Disliked washing up water was tepid, but expected that the entrance road is rather bumpy

Liked How often the toilets/showers were cleaned - very regular. Always topped up with paper towels and soap. Hand gel and soap available at washing up station Friendliness of staff Stall selling items you may of forgotten, and even a fresh cuppa if you need one! Quietness of the site. All campers were very considerate especially overnight. Best sleep I’ve had whilst camping as everyone was respectful of one another in the evening and early morning. The views are incredible Hot water in the showers 12mins drive to Weymouth 20min walk to a dog friendly beach Different walking routes to explore. Easy drive to several supermarkets

Disliked Not sure if it’s a like or dislike as no set pitches are marked out, so when we arrived it was a bit tricky finding a spot to pitch up, but then you could have plenty of space and choice about where you place yourselves. Cold water for washing up station

Liked Very close to the beach, great onsite park - looked new and stable. Fun activities available (at cost) - pedal go karts, high ropes, trampolines and arcade. Kind, helpful and polite staff. Hot showers. Quite chilled out campsite.

Disliked All hand sanitizer units were empty throughout our stay, toilets were not kept as clean as I would of expected - I ended up throwing rubbish away that had been there overnight. Of the 2 showers in the ladies only one had a working light. Pitches seemed very close together.

Liked Additional extras such as shelves in the showers, fridge/freezer. Lovely and clean facilities. Washing up shed was covered over, plenty of bins. Quite a small site but with everything you need and everything close by. Peaceful and relaxing environment, close to the Kart circuit but it wasn't too noisy so kids could still sleep. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Disliked There was nothing we disliked. Only thing I can think of is that 2 toilets and showers would probably be quite busy in peak season.

Liked The facilities were ample for the site. Clean and tidy, in good working order. Atmosphere was very relaxed and trusting. We had a bit of a problem with one of the electric hook up points not working, but this was identified and fixed quickly, with provision put in place if anything went wrong again. We felt that the service was over and above what we expected. Great to have a few fresh delights for sale - eggs and apple juice. Clear signs to find the camping area, and the fact that you can pitch up how and where you liked is a bonus. Also love the fact that you can arrive and leave when you like - saves the hassle of packing up hastily. Good location for those wanting a stopover after coming over from France as lots of people did that. Would be brilliant location for a walking base, right on top of Pilgrims Way, and just under an hours walk to Charing which was a delightful little village with a pub, tea room and corner shop. Quiet location, peaceful, in the middle of the countryside, great place for relaxing and there was room in the field for children to play swing all, kick a football around.

Disliked My advice is follow the alternative route to the campsite as laid out on the website as the other way is rather narrow with limited places to pull over should something be coming the other way!
