Disliked Our pitch had water there but it would have been nice to have had a waste drain for the grey water as well. 🙂

Liked Lovely site clean and spacious facilities nicely spaced out pitch’s even a picnic table that had a shade over it. The shade had solar panels on as did all of them, that was a great idea. There was WiFi at the pitch as well.

Liked The site is clean and the pitch’s spacious. The owner Sarah came to see us to make sure everything was ok and even opened the gate for us as we were going out for the day. It’s a nice quiet site, you can hear the road but it didn’t bother us as it’s not to noisy. We are going back again in October.

Liked The site was so easy to get to and it is nice and level. Plenty of room at each pitch, the facilities were lovely and kept clean. Great little lake on site where I watched swallows dipping onto it and damselflies racing around over it.There are hares that come into the field as well. Great to get to York as the park & ride is not far away. There is so much to see in the surrounding areas. We liked it so much we have booked again while we were there but this time for a longer stay.

Liked The site was excellent. Well spaced pitches with a great toilet “hut” and an added bonus of under floor heating in the shower. Jackie the owner was very welcoming and asked if there was anything we needed. Another bonus was the lovely clear skies and we were lucky the it was cold and it gave us some great star gazing. Over all it was a great stay and will definitely be back.

Liked We like the peace and quiet there. The pitch’s are clean and level and nicely spaced. It was nice to see the red kites flying over.It is close to Harewood House that has good walks around it.

Liked We had 4 nights at Wind farm and liked the location. The site was lovely and peaceful our pitch was near the pond where you could see the fish jumping. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They came around regular to make sure everything was ok. We saw the resident barn owl and some muntjac (strange little animals). We would definitely return for another visit.

Disliked This is not a slur on the owners but a dig at some of the people who were on the site as they had used the toilets and not flushed them leaving an unpleasant site when you went in. Do they leave there loo's the same at home !!!!! The only other thing was the geese in the mornings as it got daylight but that is nature and not the owners fault. Would still visit again.
