Liked Level and spacious pitches, proximity to Stratford town centre (approx. 30-30 minute walk).

Disliked Nothing particularly but the facilities were a little dated.

Liked Really convenient location ; we stopped here on the way back from Northumberland to Guildford in Surrey. It’s a 5 minute drive from junction 25 on the M1 and yet in a lovely little village. It’s behind a nice pub and there’s another pub (Stanhope Arms) just a couple of minutes walk away.

Disliked Not much to dislike.

Liked This was a great site. Good facilities ; toilets in good condition, great size showers, 2 areas for washing up , fridge if you need somewhere to store milk etc and even a microwave! The site was well maintained and people were very respectful of one another in that it was a pretty calm and peaceful place. It was a 10 minute walk into Chaddar and the nearest pub which served good beer and excellent food. The gorge was a 25 minute walk away. It was well located to get onto the Strawberry Trail although we missed the sign so went round the houses (literally).
