Liked Very friendly site, family run and couldn’t be more helpful, very well kept and maintained. Shower immaculate and hot, fishing on site also really good, pub just up the street if you are looking for a beer/wine. Over all brilliant few days, will defo be returning 😊

Liked We come here a few times a year, the fish and camp site is great for family.

Disliked The static caravan owners this they own the place! I have always brought my son to respect adults, so on approach his very disrespectful and with no matter at all makes me think why I do it…. It’s says dog welcome but really they don’t want them there, used to be somewhere to walk them off the lead but you can’t anymore, there is no where on the site to walk your dog off the lead

We're really sorry to hear that on your last visit an encounter with a rude adult spoiled your son's holiday. The majority of our guests and home owners appreciate good manners, tolerance and understanding. It sounds as if it was lacking on this occasion by an individual who accounts for a tiny minority. Regarding the dogs, we know that many are exceptionally well trained however our open site does mean that dogs can, and have, gone missing. We also have to consider other guests, particularly children, who may be frightened by dogs and so this rule of staying on a lead is applied for very good reasons. The Arboretum, just a mile away, is now included in the 2 for 1 offer and does have an enclosed area for dogs where they can be let off their leads. If you do come again in the future, and we hope you will, do please report any issues or altercations to reception. Thank you.

Liked Absolutely lovely place, staff very helpful and friendly couldn’t help enough, brilliant walking places for the dogs in the field just behind. Fishing was great too. A very well looked after site.

Liked Lovely place to stay one down fall not shop nearby, would probably benefit from a shop on site. There always a lovely security guard which was walking around she very happy and had time to stop and talk us over all nice place to stay

Liked Great place will go again just at the top of the hill in to Whitby town centre staff very helpful as it was very windy and muddy due to the weather but can’t help British weather we didn’t let it stop us toilets cleaned every day and evening entertainment on was all round great weekend

Liked On the other hand the facilities were clean and there was also a swimming pool to entertain the kids also clean but that’s all for children beach is and 20 min walk all down hill with is also beautiful but obviously you have to walk back up not impressed with this site at all.

Disliked Roads up to it were to small for a caravan the site was all to small and the electric couldn’t cope with the size of a caravan, this would be better for camping and not caravans
