Just to clarify regarding the Elsan facilities, we do have two chemical disposal points on site - one in the corner of the top field and another halfway down the second field. Their locations are marked on the site maps. Liked Spacious pitch with picnic table. Immaculate site and utilities block. Great info about local walks and attractions. Fantastic fully secured dog field where they can go off lead for a good run about.

Disliked Road noise didn’t bother us, but it is close to the main road.

Liked Beautiful river valley park with benches to sit beside the river and watch the mink playing and fish jumping. Absolutely immaculate site with friendly, helpful owner living onsite. Maybe the most immaculate site we’ve ever visited. Close to amazing walks, Llangollen, Pontcysyllte a Dyfrbont y Waun (Chirk aqueduct). Lots of hot water and the 4 showers seemed quite enough. Never had to wait all week long.

Disliked Nothing. Pitches aren’t huge so maybe, when all the seasonal pitches are occupied, it might be a bit cosy, but it’s a really lovely site.

Liked Peaceful working farm site with beautiful views and friendly goats in the field next door! The toilets and (free) hot showers were immaculate at all times with a washing machine and tumble dryer for campers' use at a very reasonable rate. Washing up facilities and chemical disposal also housed in the utility block. Only 13 pitches on this family-run farm site, but they are all spacious and none too far from the utility block. Adjacent to Lon Eifion walking/cycle path and also to the narrow gauge railway line between Caernarfon and Porthmadog. 15/20 minutes easy walking into Caernarfon. 10 minutes' walk to the lovely Fron Goch garden centre for delicious food and everything else you can think of. Highly recommended. Diolch yn fawr iawn Eilir!

Liked Peaceful site. Excellent toilet & shower block. Each pitch edged with pear trees, so a degree of privacy achieved. Beatiful views. Only pay for the electric you use so our bill for 1 night was less than £1.
