Liked The site. Friendliness of the receptionist. Managed to get a fairly shaded pitch as it was very hot the night we stayed. Toilets/showers clean. Bar and restaurant good. Swimming pool excellent. Lovely view from pitch

Disliked Going through the barrier anyone with a low can be very careful it pulled pipe off but luckily. Would stay again if we had a different van. Managed to get back on.

Liked Only stayed one night so didn’t get much chance to explore. The site is lovely very clean with grass and hedges trimmed with good pitches. Toilets and showers very good. Shop well stocked. And the cafe was really good, we had breakfast which was really good.

Liked Stayed in September so quiet with 5 small fishing lakes. Restaurant open 9.30 -3.30 meals looked lovely at reasonable prices. We had breakfast which was good. Stayed for two nights so did not venture anywhere we had a meet up with friends.

Disliked Take a good torch if you need to go to shower/toilet in the dark no lights on paths. Had a problem with a manhole covered on pitch 2 which I informed the manager and I noted that she acted on it straight away. No wifi on the pitch

Liked Stayed in September so could not comment on activities as they were all closed. Showers and toilets were clean. As were the pitches. Bus stop for Bruge a short walk away from the site and run every 30 minutes. Young lad on reception was very helpful

Disliked You have to pay for the showers, which we don’t mind but quite expensive at 50c a minute. I need at least 5-6 minutes to wash my hair. We only used the showers once as the Wi-Fi went down which operates the toilet shower entry and the showers, then they opened the showers for people to get a shower until Wi-Fi was back on. You do get unused money back.. people drive too fast around the site no speed limit signs.

Liked Stayed in September. Good site fairly level pitches of decent size. Had a lovely swimming pool with jacuzzi and Childs pool also slide (not in use). The staff were friendly. Had a bar that was open from what I saw all day. Toilets/showers clean and hot. Dishwashing facilities. Had a steady walk into town it was a Friday there was a market, and shops. There is a harbour so had a lovely walk around. Wi-Fi was in the bar only so good time to have a drink and use your phone. Not to forget the mini farm with the pot bellied pig 😀

Liked Stayed September Small site close to town. Nice size level pitches. Toilets/showers were clean and hot. Dishwashing facilities/microwave and fridge if needed. 10 minute walk into town bar and couple of restaurants and food shops. A small supermarket that sold a good variety of goods

Disliked Grass and hedges on most pitches could have done with a good trim and site site would have looked even better.

Liked Stayed in September Quiet site at the side of woods. Toilets/showers were clean and washing up facilities. Had a swimming pool which I used as not many sites keep pools open after August. Pitches were spacious also had a bar which opened for a few hours in the evening. Does have a snack bar but that was closed again in August. Walking distance of a small town with restaurants decent prices. The man who cut the grass was lovely. He locked my partner in the toilets when there was a power cut They had a good laugh about it and they bought my partner a drink

Disliked The pitch that we had was at the end in a corner so got no sun. We could have changed but we’re only there for 2 nights. The best pitches are down the middle Fully serviced pitches are not like the ones in UK for attaching pipes for water

Liked Quiet site stayed in September. Covered swimming pool was great for me and was still open unlike many pools in France. In the countryside so nice for bike riding and called in at a hotel for a drink they were very friendly

Disliked The toilets/showers could do with a bit of a refurbish.. No toilet seats as in most places in France. Who wants to sit on cold porcelain? bar was not open another thing that most places in France close end of August. If you are in a motorhome there are no shops in walking distance . Had to pay for Wi-Fi .. Would still go back this was our 3rd visit

Liked 20 minutes from Calais. Pleasant and friendly owner. Quiet site only about 5 level tourers/caravans/motorhomes good price we use it coming from or going to UK Has showers toilets washing up facilities. Within walking distance of small town. Also a walk around the lakes there is restaurants and ice cream parlour

Liked Individual level pitches, covered swimming pool which was open as many sites open swimming pools in April to June. Quite tidy site

Disliked No toilet seats. Don’t know why a lot of French sites don’t have toilet seats it’s horrible without them. The last day of our stay there was only one shower working and one disabled shower. Think it is need of updating and overhauling

Liked Pitch was level on hard standing. Toilets and showers although not many for the size of site were clean does look like more toilet would be in use in high season. Washing up sink were a bit dirty other users did not clean after use left veg in plug hole. Only a stopover so didnt get to walk anywhere only on embankment.

Disliked Asked reception if restaurants over the road was open that night and she looked and said yes 7. We went at 7 but was closed. Only opens at lunchtime.

Liked Small site only four touring pitches with electric hook up large pitches. There was only one shower/ toilet combined but that was no problem. The couple who run the place were lovely very chatty and brought us a cuppa and biscuit on arrival. Nice little touch. It’s not very close to a town but we used it as a stopover and would definitely use it again. Although quite close to the road we never heard traffic noise we just slept in the peaceful place.

Liked Near main road but no too close that you could hear the traffic. Grass pitches eco style but nice toilets/showers clean. Owners very friendly bought bottle of wine from them. Burger/pizza restaurant with8n walking distance. Good little site for a stopover

Disliked Nothing really to dislike. Don’t forget toilet paper as with a lot of French sites they do not supply it

Liked The site and where it was access for town and motorway. Toilets and shower dated but clean and hot. Excellent bus stop for the town on the site itself and Salamanca is lovey place 2nd visit to this site

Disliked Arrived to find reception closed 12pm-3pm parked up and the rains came down. Grounds were looking boggy couldn’t get out to find toilets, so left and found another site even though we had paid in full

We apologize that you did not find the intercom for assistance and the note stating that you are welcome to find a spot yourself. Because of this you did not get to experience our paved camper terrace with a great view, our highly rated facilities with family showers, real toilets and minibar. We understand that this prevented you from writing an honest review, as others did. Anyway: we invite you to come back on another day of your choice to spend 'your' night. Liked Close to Calais for ferry/train. Owner really friendly remembers us from previous year. Very pleasant man. We had a slight problem with a padlock and he had it cut off in minutes for us. Toilets showers clean washing up facilities washer and dryer. Lakes nearby for a lovely walk food and drink if you want or ice cream

Disliked We have a big motorhome and it is a bit tight getting in or out of pitch
