Liked Pleasant and peaceful site with a canalside walk of around 15 to 20 minutes to a very nice pub

Disliked Only 2 toilets which are combined with the showers. So you can be waiting some time if all you require is the toilet. One wash up area with 2 sinks and a trek from the bottom site which we was staying.

Liked Absolutely everything, the micro pub, the converted barn into a pub with live music.! The toilet blocks and reception area are second to none.! Obviously no expense spared when designing and building the campsite.! The setting is absolutely beautiful.!

Disliked Short staffed, the onsite shop was never open.! But we went at the end of the season.! So can’t be helped I suppose.!

Liked Well kept large flat pitches with privacy hedges as a bonus. Clean toilet and shower blocks

Disliked There was nothing for us to dislike, the time of year we visited was quiet. I could imagine the toilet and shower blocks might be congested at busier times of the year!

Liked The views from newlands valley campsite are second to none. With a very nice pub just a ten minute walk up the hill. Not he place to stay of your looking for anything remotely luxurious but for a back to basics site you can’t beat it.
