What customers say
This is a friendly, quiet campsite with a convenient location for visiting Gloucester and Tewkesbury via the bus stop right outside. Pitches are generally spacious and level. While many guests praise the cleanliness of the shower blocks and the helpfulness of the staff, some reviews mention dated facilities, overflowing bins, and a lack of general maintenance in certain areas.

I wouldn’t recommend this at all
Electric hardstanding touring pitch (no awning)
Liked Nice location and away from busy urban areas
Disliked Hygiene & cleanliness. Possibly the worst I’ve been too- The toilets were disgusting with loo roll scattered on the floor the whole time and clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly in a while. The showers were so dirty I chose not to shower over showering in them. The bins were all over flowing.
Additionally, a lot of the hard standing pitches were just pitches along where you would drive so you couldn’t have even sat out with a cuppa without having to move to let cars passed.
I really wouldn’t recommend.

Lovely location, but cleaning and maintenance let it down badly
Electric hardstanding touring pitch (no awning)
Liked Good location, and easy bus ride into Gloucester
Disliked Bins were seriously overflowing. Problems with drains - the shower I used drain was blocked, and the toilet disposal was disgusting, lumps of pooh lying on top of the obviously blocked drain. Also pitches very small - felt more like a large parking space rather than a pitch. A shame as this could be a really nice site, but cleaning and maintenance let it down badly

Electric hardstanding touring pitch (no awning)
Liked Close to Gloucester centre short bus or taxi ride into the quays
Disliked Someone parked their car on our pitch so it limited our space also we bought some eggs on site which we noticed were out of date the use by date was the 5th Dec so not ideal this should be picked up in the shop before selling them we never noticed while we were there as we never used them due to going to Gloucester to the Xmas markets then leaving early to go north
