Head to Kendal Calling – set in a landscaped deer park in the Lake District – for a boutique music and arts festival with a big impact. This four-day event features an impressive line-up of indie and alternative acts, along with memorable comedy performances, cutting-edge DJ sets and an enormous fancy-dress party.
As this festival is in one of the UK’s most scenic national parks, you can stay at a campsite near Kendal Calling overlooking serene lakes, vast valleys and grand mountains. There are also pitches on working hill farms, next to wild swimming holes, and in ancient woodlands.
