Great place to stay.
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Love the location and the scenery around the farm. The facilities are brilliant and easily accessible.
Disliked I didn’t appreciate a member of staff telling mine and other children to be quiet when they were just playing and being children in and around the play area causing no trouble. Especially as it was nowhere near quiet time at the venue. Thought that was out of order but didn’t spoil the time there and doesn’t take away our love for the site.

Electric optional grass tent pitch
Liked Lovely site with great facilities and a fantastic family feel. It's a great place if you have children and would stay again in a heartbeat.
Disliked Only complaint, which can't really be blamed on the site, is what some people do in the toilets, I've put it down to the amount of young children there, some cleaner and flushable "wipes" would be ideal.

Lovely location. Booked to be closer…
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Lovely location. Booked to be closer to Blencathra and Keswick area (it was a bit of a drive to the route for Newlands horseshoe but we anticipated this) for planned routes. Picked based on the facilities due to not being used to camping so still wanted some comforts away from home (fridge, bathroom and showers). Nice facilities, fridge and freezer had SO much room, and lovely reception staff. Pretty chilled atmosphere, fellow campers respectful of one another etc., with noise at night and mornings. Picnic tables were a nice touch on the campsite also. Showers warm, so for the price was a big bonus especially after two long days of hiking😊
Disliked Bins were full on the campsite at the end of the day and toilets also (women’s), but emptied in the morning. Showers were somewhat clean but appreciate it was a busy campsite. Mix up with the check in time, reception staff said they were going to sort as I booked through pitchup (it was 2:30pm up until 5pm but email sent saying latest was 7pm, not an issue as there is always someone on site but if we had known we would’ve arrived earlier). Would definitely stay again and recommend!

First time at this Campsite. …
Electric optional grass tent pitch
Liked First time at this Campsite. May I add what a great site, well managed, clean and ideally located for the Northern areas of the Lake District.
The toilets and shower areas are kept very clean except for some unhygenic paying guests who do not know how to leave lavatories clean after using them. It must be really frustrating for the Camp owners and cleaners walking in to some toilet areas.
The area has good wash areas and communial room which has WIFI, TV, Fridge, Toasters games etc.
Would definately use this Campsite again, plenty of room for large tents.
Disliked None, we enjoyed our 4 nights and will have some good memories of this short break.

Liked Really clean camping with beautiful views. We could pick our own spot, which we highly appreciated. Great atmosphere! :)
Disliked You could really hear the motorway at night, but we solved this by wearing earplugs.
