  • Quiet site minutes away from Zaragoza city centre
  • Between the ports of Santander/Bilbao and Costa Brava beaches
  • Pools, playground, restaurant, café and sports areas
Combine Spanish city and Spanish seaside at Aragon's Camping Ciudad de Zaragoza, only four kilometres from the bar and food culture of the splendid old city of Zaragoza and halfway between both the ports of Santander and Bilbao and the beaches of Costa Brava. Although it's in an eminently central location to everything you could fancy in the Zaragoza province, Ciudad de Zaragoza is a quiet site and set up for those who want to explore the region but have a peaceful base to come tiredly back to of an evening. It has an eminently excellent playground for kids, swimming and paddling pools, a communal barbecue area and a multisports area for Spanish racket game pelota, tennis, football and basketball. Local meals are dished up at the site restaurant, and there's also a café and a shop. The modern amenities include loo blocks with good facilities for disabled visitors, showers, changing rooms, toilets, sinks and washing machines. Camping Ciudad de Zaragoza has free wifi throughout.

What customers say

This municipal campsite offers spacious pitches, many with water and electricity. Visitors praise the helpful, English-speaking staff and the convenient location for exploring Zaragoza via bus or bike. Facilities, particularly the showers, are frequently described as clean and hot, though some find them dated or small. The pool and restaurant are popular amenities. While generally well-regarded as a stopover, some guests noted issues with noise, cleanliness in certain areas, and a need for site maintenance.

Electric optional hardstanding motorhome pitch

Electric optional hardstanding motorhome pitch

Liked Rien

Electric optional hardstanding motorhome pitch

Liked Well organized with lots of clean showers and toilets. There are small hedges being grown as dividers for the pitches but there are not many big trees for shade yet. The swimming pool is the municipal one butbitjis big with seats around it and a separate pool for children. The bus stop to the centre, and amlarfe supermarket, are about a 10 minutes walk away. The bus takes 30 minutes into town where there is a nice cathedral with Goya paintings in it.
It is good as a stopover on your route

Disliked No shade.

Electric optional hardstanding motorhome pitch

Liked Excellent staff, we can't thank you enough, we had a problem with our awning due to a freak storm and the reception staff and the maintenance man went out of their way to help us fix it (and a fabulous Irish carpenter called Paul 😍). Really, really appreciated the help. All other staff really helpful and friendly too! Enjoyed the campsite so extended our stay. Great location a few kilometres outside of Zaragoza but with good transport links. We walked in then found the cycling into the city is brilliant... Great campsite, thanks everyone!

Local attractions

Zaragoza is a splendidly scenic and cultural Spanish city, famed in particular for its UNESCO World Heritage Site buildings such as the Basílica del Pilar, La Seo Cathedral and the Aljafería Palace, its food, its folklore and the Fiestas del Pilar, running for nine days every October and dating back to the fifteenth century. Another much-visited option in the city is the site of Expo 2008, now the site of the Luis Buñuel Metropolitan Water Park, with water gardens, river beach, golf course, leisure centres, cable car, wildwater chute for rafting and kayaking, a spa and an adventure park. The very famed moorish castle Aljafería Palace is a short distance from Zaragoza's old city centre, near Zaragoza-Delicias station.
