  • Quiet site minutes away from Zaragoza city centre
  • Between the ports of Santander/Bilbao and Costa Brava beaches
  • Pools, playground, restaurant, café and sports areas
Combine Spanish city and Spanish seaside at Aragon's Camping Ciudad de Zaragoza, only four kilometres from the bar and food culture of the splendid old city of Zaragoza and halfway between both the ports of Santander and Bilbao and the beaches of Costa Brava. Although it's in an eminently central location to everything you could fancy in the Zaragoza province, Ciudad de Zaragoza is a quiet site and set up for those who want to explore the region but have a peaceful base to come tiredly back to of an evening. It has an eminently excellent playground for kids, swimming and paddling pools, a communal barbecue area and a multisports area for Spanish racket game pelota, tennis, football and basketball. Local meals are dished up at the site restaurant, and there's also a café and a shop. The modern amenities include loo blocks with good facilities for disabled visitors, showers, changing rooms, toilets, sinks and washing machines. Camping Ciudad de Zaragoza has free wifi throughout.

What customers say

Great municipal campsite near Zaragoza. Praised for spacious sites, helpful staff, pool, and restaurant. Easy public transport access. Some found facilities, especially showers, dated. Occasional noise from airport/groups noted.

Power optional cement/asphalt RV campsite

Liked Facilities were very good, reception was very helpful, pool was refreshing. Great for 1-2 nights taxi into the city was €16 each way

Disliked Pitches were stoney, there was a big group of unsupervised teenagers in the pool that were just splashing about and another younger group of chikdren using the toilets/shower areas to fill up balloons with water- and making the floors wet and slippery. No baskets for removing other people's washing from machines when finished! One person didnt return until 1 hour after the machine had finished - i had to go and get a black bin liner to put her stuff in so I could use the machine! Baskets chained to the machines would be great for these situations

Power optional cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite

Liked Great location for a stopover on the way to Santander / Bibao for the ferry L. Staff on reception were friendly and welcoming. Zaragoza itself is well worth a visit.

Disliked Toilets and showers need upgrading. Plastic cups for beer in restaurant disappointing and prices expensive. Bits of rubbish left around pitch. Website difficult to book as no English translation available so we had to use Pitch Up which cost us more.

Local attractions

Zaragoza is a splendidly scenic and cultural Spanish city, famed in particular for its UNESCO World Heritage Site buildings such as the Basílica del Pilar, La Seo Cathedral and the Aljafería Palace, its food, its folklore and the Fiestas del Pilar, running for nine days every October and dating back to the fifteenth century. Another much-visited option in the city is the site of Expo 2008, now the site of the Luis Buñuel Metropolitan Water Park, with water gardens, river beach, golf course, leisure centres, cable car, wildwater chute for rafting and kayaking, a spa and an adventure park. The very famed moorish castle Aljafería Palace is a short distance from Zaragoza's old city centre, near Zaragoza-Delicias station.
