  • Quiet site minutes away from Zaragoza city centre
  • Between the ports of Santander/Bilbao and Costa Brava beaches
  • Pools, playground, restaurant, café and sports areas
Combine Spanish city and Spanish seaside at Aragon's Camping Ciudad de Zaragoza, only four kilometres from the bar and food culture of the splendid old city of Zaragoza and halfway between both the ports of Santander and Bilbao and the beaches of Costa Brava. Although it's in an eminently central location to everything you could fancy in the Zaragoza province, Ciudad de Zaragoza is a quiet site and set up for those who want to explore the region but have a peaceful base to come tiredly back to of an evening. It has an eminently excellent playground for kids, swimming and paddling pools, a communal barbecue area and a multisports area for Spanish racket game pelota, tennis, football and basketball. Local meals are dished up at the site restaurant, and there's also a café and a shop. The modern amenities include loo blocks with good facilities for disabled visitors, showers, changing rooms, toilets, sinks and washing machines. Camping Ciudad de Zaragoza has free wifi throughout.

What customers say

Good spot, friendly staff, spacious sites. Handy for Zaragoza via bus. Pool & restaurant good. Some dated showers, occasional noise from groups, limited Wi-Fi. Management working on it.

Power optional concrete slab motorhome site

Liked Easy access to the city via the bus. Has a Bar/restaurant on site, but is very chaotic.

Disliked Hotter than hell. No shade and very little privacy between the dusty pitches/lunar landscape. The receptionist needs customer service training - didn’t say hello, please or thank you, or take the time to explain anything - extremely rude and unwelcoming. Gave a very poor first impression of Zaragoza.
Showers are small and dated. Broken tiles outside - be careful where you’re walking.

Liked The pitch was large, the bar was fine

Disliked We were not notified that there was a festival going on and the music started at 12 and continued to to 1230 the first night and around 1am the second night. This music was so loud it was deafening.
Had this not been going on, the review would have been different. No shop on site WiFi only available at the bar or reception

Power optional concrete slab motorhome site

Liked Pitch was shadey, and roomy.
Pool was lovely, although can get busy. Staff were very friendly. Shops and cafes very close.
Would definately go back.

Disliked The food from cafe was disappointing. I ordered the lamb chops but they were not freshly cooked and appeared to have been kept warm all day.

Liked I liked the calm and cleanliness, the good restaurant, and the excellent pool.

Disliked Lots of children in the pool, and some irresponsibility on the part of those responsible for them, lots of trash left in the pool area.

Local attractions

Zaragoza is a splendidly scenic and cultural Spanish city, famed in particular for its UNESCO World Heritage Site buildings such as the Basílica del Pilar, La Seo Cathedral and the Aljafería Palace, its food, its folklore and the Fiestas del Pilar, running for nine days every October and dating back to the fifteenth century. Another much-visited option in the city is the site of Expo 2008, now the site of the Luis Buñuel Metropolitan Water Park, with water gardens, river beach, golf course, leisure centres, cable car, wildwater chute for rafting and kayaking, a spa and an adventure park. The very famed moorish castle Aljafería Palace is a short distance from Zaragoza's old city centre, near Zaragoza-Delicias station.
