Combine Spanish city and Spanish seaside at Aragon's Camping Ciudad de Zaragoza, only four kilometres from the bar and food culture of the splendid old city of Zaragoza and halfway between both the ports of Santander and Bilbao and the beaches of Costa Brava. Although it's in an eminently central location to everything you could fancy in the Zaragoza province, Ciudad de Zaragoza is a quiet site and set up for those who want to explore the region but have a peaceful base to come tiredly back to of an evening. It has an eminently excellent playground for kids, swimming and paddling pools, a communal barbecue area and a multisports area for Spanish racket game pelota, tennis, football and basketball. Local meals are dished up at the site restaurant, and there's also a café and a shop. The modern amenities include loo blocks with good facilities for disabled visitors, showers, changing rooms, toilets, sinks and washing machines. Camping Ciudad de Zaragoza has free wifi throughout.

Liked Pitch was close to the toilets and showers. Drinking water and electricity readily available on our pitch. The guy working in the restaurant was so nice and really friendly. Pool was open.

Disliked Showers weren't as clean as other campsites we stayed at on this trip - there were alot of flies in the showers and ants in the mens toilet, when we were checking in the queue for reception was long and there were 3 staff members behind the desk but only one dealing with the public. The food was poor, ordered a chicken burger and it was pink through but seemed cooked so have no idea what it actually was, we asked the staff about it and he said it was probably the cut of chicken blended with bone or something 🤢 goats cheese salad was a big bowl of leaves and one small piece of goats cheese and it was expensive for what it was. One of the children's playgrounds was closed and the other was open but limited facilities for very young children. No evening entertainment or if there was we were not told about it. WiFi didn't work either. No shop on site.

Liked Good sized pitches with gazebo. Heated shower block, hot showers but needed to dress in communal part. All very clean. Nice restaurant area. Extremely helpful reception staff. 10 minute walk to the bus.

Disliked not very friendly stuff, showers were small and needs some hooks. WIFI did not worked.
