What customers say
This tranquil, scenic campsite, nestled in the woods, is praised for its friendly, helpful staff and spacious pitches with good facilities. New toilet blocks are a particular highlight. While some guests enjoyed the bar and children's play areas, others noted a shortage of toilets and showers, particularly for camper areas, and issues with shower water temperature and availability of toilet paper and soap. The pool was busy for some.

Electric optional grass touring pitch
Liked We chose to stay on the motorhome field across the road from the main campsite, and it couldn't have been nicer. Being still in June, the snack bar and pool were not yet open. The staff were always friendly and helpful.
The sanitary block for our area was always immaculate, cleaned and checked regularly, and smelled great! There was hot water in the washing up area, too. I question whether two showers, loos and sinks would be enough if the field was full (it was just us and one other van, so no issues for our visit).
We walked to the village for a Trappist beer in the restaurant/bar - just a 10-15 minute walk.
All in all, it's a fabulous campsite and on our list for a return visit one day.

Liked Staff were kind & it was fairly quiet in our area!
Disliked No soap or toilet paper in the toilet. The women’s toilet was around the back of the block which meant you had to walk on rotten wood to get there.

Great for a stop over or longer stays if you like the big outdoors
Electric optional grass touring pitch
Liked Very warm welcome from the owner and being end of season we had a choice of pitch. The main part of the site is pleasantly wooded but we chose a flat pitch close to the new toilet blocks on the lower part of the camp. The new toilet facilities were a revelation, clean, extremely well designed and prefabricated off site. Lots of hot water. Very peaceful.

Good stopover, convenient to motorway
Electric optional grass touring pitch
Liked Ideal stopover just off the motorway. Turned up late due to problems on motorway, staff still welcomed us. Just staying 1 night so put in field across road from site. Shower facilities very clean and good. Gave us shower tokens. Didn’t really explore much of the site.

Electric optional grass touring pitch
Liked The location is central to a lot of things in the area
Disliked Showers were cold after 2 minutes. Bought extra tokens to have a longer shower, came out after 8 minutes as the water went cold after about 2 or 3 minutes. Also, no toilet paper in the toilets in the evening or first thing in the morning
