  • Half a mile from award-winning Manorbier beach
  • 10 beaches within 10 miles of the site
  • Five miles from Tenby and close to Folly Farm and Heatherton
It’s named after 14th-century Manorbier Castle’s deer park, but you might say sand is the theme of the holiday at Pembrokeshire’s Park Farm Holiday Park: it’s the closest site to the award-winning sands of Manorbier beach, which is just half a mile away along the farm’s own footpath, and one of 10 beaches within 10 miles. (That’s the first 10 days of the holiday sorted then…) Park Farm is also a paltry five miles from Pembrokeshire capital Tenby, five miles from Pembroke (and another castle), a few minutes from the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, and close to Carmarthen Bay and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Two popular Pembrokeshire attractions – Folly Farm and Heatherton – are within easy reach, as is Tenby’s roaringly good Dinosaur Park and big beasts lurking in its woods. Perhaps you’d better tell the boss not to expect you back for at least a couple of weeks… The accommodation area at Park Farm covers about seven well-drained acres of the farm’s 25 acres of wooded countryside. Basic facilities include a toilet block and showers in the tent camping area, with more amenities in the main park including a launderette, additional showers and a parent-and-baby washroom.

What customers say

Friendly and helpful staff are consistently praised. Guests appreciate the excellent location, with many mentioning the pleasant walk to the beach and local village amenities. Pitches are generally described as spacious and well-maintained, though some find them uneven. Facilities, particularly the toilets and showers, are frequently noted as clean, although several reviews mention they are dated and could benefit from modernisation. Noise from wildlife and occasional issues with other guests were noted by a small number of visitors.

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked Shower and toilet block decent.

Disliked Lots of rules on site , pitches advertised as 10m x 10 m but def not that size.

Was put on the furthest corner of the tent field away from friends of mine in another field as there was apparently no space. Yet there were lots an empty pitches either side of them (albeit in campervans, another rule no doubt of “tents can’t go there”.

Felt a bit too rigid for my liking , still more a personal choice based on my stat and I’ve tried to be honest.

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked Really liked the site, good size pitches, clean and tidy with good access to a fantastic beach. 15 minutes walk into Manorbier to go to the shop or the pub.

Disliked Some pitches were very uneven, ours was pretty good but I don't know how people were able to manage with some of the steeper ones. Toilet/shower block functioned well enough but could do with updating.

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked Good location, near a lovely beach and small village.

Disliked The site was large and we, along with the four other families we were with, were on a sloped pitch which isn’t ideal. But the biggest issue was there was only one main toilet/shower facility available for the whole site. Which unfortunately for us was miles away from our pitches.

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked Distance to the beach, peaceful, walks, helpful staff, shown direct to pitch, sizes of pitches available

Disliked Shower and toilet block needs an upgrade and could do with additional one in the top field, all pitches are on the slope, not that I would swap that for the space and tranquility

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked The site was nice and quiet, the pitches were huge, and it was a pleasant, 10-minute walk to Manobier beach.

Disliked The toilets need an update. The benefit is that they were never busy, but even though they were clean (most of the time), they felt tired and could definitely use a freshen-up. This didn't ruin our stay, although I probably wouldn't return.

Electric grass motorhome pitch

Liked Arrived towards the end of a working day and site team (hubby and wife) friendly and helpful. Directed to field where we were greeted and shown to our pitch. Lots of helpful info given to us.
Quiet site.
Lovely walks for both humans and dogs but not suitable for anyone who has limited mobility and there are areas that are quite steep and uneven.
A good central location to a number of local areas and beaches.
I have said I wouldn’t stay again but that is also because there are so many sites and areas to explore.

Disliked Small pitches meaning other units are quite close to you.
Showers clean but in need of upgrades.
Washing up area open to elements and water not particularly hot so cleaning anything greasy etc difficult.

Not any fault of the site, but be mindful of narrow lanes.

Local attractions

Pack the wetsuit, surfboard and other foamy paraphernalia: this part of west Wales has several surrounding sands known for good surf, such as Manorbier beach (best for experienced surfers because of the strong currents), Tenby South and Freshwater West (where scenes in Harry Potter were shot, film fact fans). Jetskiing, kitesurfing, paddleboarding and kayaking are all available locally for a shot or two of more adrenaline, but if your idea of watersports verges on the sedate, you can take a RIB ride or hire a motorboat for a trip around Tenby harbour and Caldey Island to sightsee and species spot: dolphins and seals are often seen here. Fishing? Set your jaws and try to land a shark – quite a few toothy types swim along the south coast of Pembrokeshire because of the warm waters of the Gulf Stream, and a 150lb whopper was landed near Milford Haven in 2011. If the mere thought of sharks is bringing back disturbing childhood memories of a certain film, take a boat out for sea fishing instead from Tenby, Fishguard, Pembroke or Milford Haven, or try one of the shoals of river and stillwater course and game fishing around the county. On land, once you’ve spent the requisite days at Heatherton, Folly Farm and the Dinosaur Park, explorers have plenty of other leisurely options in the area for family days out. The 186 miles of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path can be joined at the far end of Tenby’s South Beach for a five-mile hike east to the golden sands of Saundersfoot and on for another two and a half miles to its finishing point at Amroth, via lots of stopoffs for snaps of seabirds and seals from the cliffs. Little nature fans should like a trip to Tenby’s Manor Wildlife Park for all manner of up-close encounters with lemurs, gibbons, meerkats and more, or a trip around the three floors of Ocean Commotion, a play park for kids from tots to ten. Once the kids are suitably bribed/tuckered out, grownups have plenty of pursuits in the area to pick from: try the indoor and outdoor markets at Tenby and the market at Pembroke Dock; a scenic drive west along the coast to cutely small St Davids (well worth the drive), or teeing off at one of Tenby’s top-class golf courses.
