Snooty Fox: Foxhenge

General

  • Within walking distance of watersports at Wild Lakes Wales
  • Five-minute drive from Bluestone Water Park
  • Pub with home-cooked food, real ale and a log fire

This is a pub site, but you might still want to pitch up here if you have kids… Snooty Fox is within walking distance of Oakwood Theme Park, a five-minute drive from Bluestone Water Park and close to Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, Heatherton World of Activities and Manor Wildlife Park – what a cunning location. It's a top place for watersports too: Pembrokeshire Wake Park is five minutes' stroll away.

This is also good biking country and within walking distance of the rides and strides of Canaston Woods; Coedcanlas is three miles away for those who fancy a peaceful walk along the estuary. Dog-friendly walks are close to hand too: the Snooty Fox owners recommend a stroll into the local woods and down onto the waterfront.

The pub is family run and has a large function room, a stage area and a pool/games room. It serves home-cooked food and real ales – obv the best thing is to settle down with both in front of the log fire…

Snooty Fox doesn't have showers on site but it does have outdoor toilets and washbasins, and toilets in the pub are available to use during opening hours.

Please note

This site has no on-site shower facilities.

Was such a lovely place to stay with the family. The pub was beautiful , with the den and park making it even more of a lovely stay for the family.
Due to the rain we couldn’t utilise the park and field as much as we would have liked, so looking forward to booking soon when the weather will be perfect so we can all enjoy this beautiful place to stay.
The host was the loveliest we could have asked for. Nothing she couldn’t do to make our stay more pleasurable. We will be back! X

    Disliked:

The only thing it could have benefited from was a shower , which they are currently erecting. However there are toilets and wash basins which were more than suitable for our short stay.

From the manager...

Thank you for your kind comments, showers should be up and running soon fingers crossed,
Look forward to seeing you again, bring the Sun ha ha

From the manager...

Thank you for your positive comments,
Sorry about the Kitchen closing, we had a nightmare with BT accidently turning off our internet which meant we could not take any Card payments or use our phone for 14 days. Grrrrr

We are updating the toilets and adding wash/shower areas.
Hopefully see you again soon.

The noise from factory next door and couldn’t find any bins for rubbish no phone charging facilities dirty toilets an sinks

From the manager...

Thank you for your kind comments,
Sorry you didn’t see or were told about the 4 wheely bins which are situated on the way to the toilets?
The toilets are cleaned on a regular basis unfortunately as campers use the toilet facilities at different times not everyone puts their rubbish in the bins or keeps the area tidy
(Guarantee every time we wash through someone enters)

Please feel free to speak with a member of staff with regards to any problems should you wish to stay again.
Hope this didn’t spoil your holiday.
