This is a pub site, but you might still want to pitch up here if you have kids… Snooty Fox is a five-minute drive from Bluestone Water Park and close to Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, Heatherton World of Activities and Manor Wildlife Park – what a cunning location. It's a top place for watersports too: Pembrokeshire Wake Park is five minutes' stroll away. This is also good biking country and within walking distance of the rides and strides of Canaston Woods; Coedcanlas is three miles away for those who fancy a peaceful walk along the estuary. Dog-friendly walks are close at hand too: the Snooty Fox owners recommend a stroll into the local woods and down onto the waterfront. The pub is family run and has a large function room, a stage area and a pool/games room. It serves home-cooked food (for food, it's essential that you book a table in advance when you arrive) and real ales – obviously, the best thing is to settle down with both in front of the log fire… Snooty Fox doesn't have showers on site, but it does have outdoor toilets and washbasins, and toilets in the pub are available to use during opening hours.

  • The site has no shower facilities but there are toilets with washbasins available in the pub that are open from 8am until 11pm daily and locked overnight. The exterior toilets are open throughout the day and evening. There are occasional private events held on Fridays and Saturdays in the pub and there may be some related noise. The bar is open to the public during events, but the kitchen will be closed. The kitchen is also closed Sunday and Monday nights. Advance bookings are required.

Gostou The atmosphere in the bar was amazing, staff were brilliant and great with my 4 year old

Gostou Lovely site. Lovely pub. Lovely atmosphere. Great location. Nice staff. Very pleasant stay

Não gostou Toilets are a good walk from the tent field so not great when you wake in the middle of the night needing a wee. No showers….but this is stated on their site. We were away for 1 night only so it was fine for us. Not so good if you want a longer stay.

Gostou Lovely site, so quite but also full of children at the same time which meant our children could play with others and make friends.

Lots of space to run around and surrounded by nature. We had lots of swallows flying around and squirrels.

We had some live music over the duration of our stay which was nice to listen too.

Não gostou Would have been nice to have some signposting for the outside toilets, we arrived at 12 and didn’t know where they were until the pub opened.

Gostou Clean site, plenty of space. Pub and park onsite - food was excellent and owners were super friendly and helpful. Good location for Folly Farm (which was the purpose of our trip).

Gostou Well kept site in close proximity to the Snooty Fox pub. Good base to visit surrounding area.

Não gostou Although we were self-contained, and knew there were no facilities at the time of booking, the Snooty Fox site definitely needs toilet/shower and dishwashing facilities.

After you've whizzed the kids around Folly Farm et al, the Snooty Fox surrounds have quite a bit more to do for family and grown-up days out – 'tis Pembrokeshire after all… The market town of Narberth is within about 15 minutes' drive and is a popular place for Pembrokeshire visitors, who come for the independent shops, including an award-winning butcher, several art galleries and the plentiful antiques shops. Drive eight miles or so to the seaside resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot for super sands, the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, coasteering, climbing and fishing; Tenby's Llys-y-Fran Country Park and Reservoir has an adventure playground if the kids need to let off yet more steam. Lawrenny Yacht Club is three miles away.
