Liked Because we had young children they put us right next to the park which was amazing, they also gave ice creams to our little ones. Very lovely hosts and a very lovely campsite couldn’t have asked for any better! Make sure to visit the wild lakes round the corner from the site as it’s amazing and so much fun!

What customers say

This is a well-kept campsite with flat pitches, ideal for stargazing and conveniently located near the Snooty Fox pub. Families appreciate the excellent play area and the owners' welcoming hospitality, including thoughtful gestures for children. The on-site bar is praised for its friendly atmosphere and good selection of drinks. While acknowledged as a project for the future, the lack of toilet and shower facilities on touring pitches is a recurring point, though some visitors were aware of this in advance. Plans are underway to address these facility improvements.

Non-electric grass motorhome pitch

Liked Lovely area, and flat pitches, brill for stargazing.

Disliked Could have done with outside toilets, as it has quite a few pitches

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Sorry we have stated to Pitch-up that the Campsite toilets are having works done so out of order at present and that we are only taking full self contained camper vans/Caravans etc
Hope it didn't spoil your stay.

Liked The bar. Nice homely bar, good selection of drinks, lovely staff, cool sports memorabilia. It also has an amazing hidden spectacular function room.
Nice park for the kids and nice grounds.

Disliked No toilets on the touring pitches. Only toilets down the side of the pub, which can be quite a walk at night from a lot of the pitches.
No showers either.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Sorry we do state on pitchup NO showers (next project)

Local attractions

After you've whizzed the kids around Folly Farm et al, the Snooty Fox surrounds have quite a bit more to do for family and grown-up days out – 'tis Pembrokeshire after all… The market town of Narberth is within about 15 minutes' drive and is a popular place for Pembrokeshire visitors, who come for the independent shops, including an award-winning butcher, several art galleries and the plentiful antiques shops. Drive eight miles or so to the seaside resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot for super sands, the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, coasteering, climbing and fishing; Tenby's Llys-y-Fran Country Park and Reservoir has an adventure playground if the kids need to let off yet more steam. Lawrenny Yacht Club is three miles away.
