Liked: Return visit as we love the fantastic location and the peacefulness of the site Surrounded by beautiful views and close to the Botanic Gardens and Aberglasney which we were visiting. Toilets and showers are first class. Will be back soon to visit the local castles and beaches. The dog walking area , where you can let your dog off its lead , is an added bonus

Liked: The friendly owner Simon. Fantastic location for visiting the nearby gardens and castles. Peaceful location with beautiful views over the Towy Valley. Immaculate washrooms and shower facilities. Nice change to have a campsite with flexibility unlike the regimental camping and caravan club.

Liked: The very helpful and friendly owner Simon who couldn't do enough for us. It is a handy location for visit to the many sites of interest near there, castles and two amazing gardens - Aberglasney and the National Botanic Gardens. Good level pitch, lovely toilet and shower facilities and the free to roam chickens! A good stopping off spot on the way to West Wales. Carmarthenshire is fascinating in its own right and steeped in history.
Disliked: Some road noise from the A40 next to the site. But quiet over night. Nowhere to walk to from the site but fine if you don't mind driving to the shops or a pub.

Liked: The toilet and the shower rooms just blew us away, so clean and in such high quality. Water pressure from the shower head was second to none.
Disliked: The hard surfaces and gravel tops to the pitch are slowly invaded by plants, on a rainy day, muddy shoes are unavoidable.

From the manager: Thank you for your review, I would like to inform you that we deliberately allow the grass to grow through the hard standing areas ,which allows them to blend into the view of surrounding fields .We are in beautiful unspoilt countryside , which is the main reason why people visit the Towy Valley ..

Liked: Peaceful and centrally located site for exploring Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire, very helpful & friendly owners, immaculate shower and toilet facilities. Great enclosed doggy garden.
Disliked: When the site is full you may find that the pot washing and toilet facilities are busy. The 2 local pubs have closed down, so not many places to eat out at locally.

From the manager: Thank you for your review . For future campers , two of our local pubs have now re opened.
