lovely little site, conveniently situated between Llandeilo and carmarthen.
really friendly owner and excellent showers and toilets, small bistro on the site, we had a nice meal.

slightly muddy near the hard standing, but it was November.

Absolutely loved this site so peaceful and relaxing, Simon is great and always there at the end of the phone if not around the site. first evening someone had an issue with electric and he was there and got it sorted in minutes. Simon also texted me on the morning before we set off to let me know the number to call on arrival and if we had an approximate arrival time which we did so he was there to meet us and show us everything we needed. Loved the free roaming chickens and the cockerel that didn't seem to crow at dawn but about 8 or so perfect time. toilets and showers are gorgeous and spotless, hand gel on entry and inside and never saw so much as a splash on the sides near sinks they are so nicely decorated too one of the best i have seen. Daffies bistro at the entrance looked and smelled lovely but didn't have the chance to try it this time but we will be back so will try it then it only opened til 8 on saturday night all other hours are daytime so no disturbance late at night. this site was exactly what we wanted quiet and peaceful in a nice location not far to carmarthen or llandeilo and not too far from the coast. some people might be bothered by the road at the bottom by the bistro but only seemed to be busy at peak times and to be honest we never noticed it. only sad thing was at night it was cloudy so coudn't see the stars but there zero light pollution nearly so they would have been lovely to see, hope for clear skies next time we go. fantastic site if you just want somewhere quiet and small as a base to explore or just to relax in the countryside and enjoy the beautiful views.

Pitched were good. It's a small, quiet site and all washing facilities were very good.

The adjacent restaurant is, I think, quite new. It seems popular though we felt the cooking let down good ingredients.
