The amenities block, cleaned every day, has free hot water to three showers and four sinks, as well as plenty of toilets for both ladies and gents. A big dishwashing sink is at the front of the building.

Supplies and suppers can be picked up at Kilgetty village less than half a mile away, which has takeaways and a fish and chip shop, a pub, a well-stocked supermarket and a post office. Trains and buses are in town too for exploring along the Pembrokeshire coast and further afield.

Lovely peaceful location. Good facilities, the toilets and showers were kept very clean. The showers were good and not intermittent as you usually experience whilst camping. We were met with good customer service and took advantage of the fire pits to hand. There is a large shop within walking distance and the campsite is easy access from the road.

Didn't answer both the mobile or the landline number when we arrived. Not sign posted on site and we drove around and just found a gap and parked up. The site was very noisy to the early hours of the morning with vehicles and tractors on site

From the manager...

Thanks for taking a second to give us a review, I run the site by myself so am not always at the house upon arrival I'm afraid.
The campers who broke down and arrived at 2.30 am on an AA lorry which then got stuck in the field and needed towing out was unfortunate and avoidable, had they have called ahead and explained their woes I would have told them to stay in the car park on arrival, and the lorry shouldn't have drove on wet grass but the idiot did!?!
This incident is however a one off, and I did answer your phone call at 2.30 in the morning and get out of bed to check what the noise was, I was extremely annoyed at the campers and the AA driver but getting annoyed at them would have been no help.
I am Sorry this ruined your stay, but if you had only come and voiced your complaint to me directly I would have happily refunded the fee for your disturbed nights sleep.
Best wishes,
Mike.
P.S i am happy to offer you a free weekend stay if you wish to try us again.

From the manager...

Thanks for giving us a review and rating, we try our best to be as helpful as possible to all our campers.
All 3 outside lights needed changing on the toilet block in August due to a power surge, unfortunately for you this must have been on the night you stayed, which is why you must have had trouble finding them so I do apologise for that.
Kind regards,
Mike.

Very good value for money. Great location, close to all the best pembrokeshire attractions and a lovely fish and chip shop 2 minute drive away! Warm, friendly greeting from owner on arrival who directed us to the tent field. Field was fairly dry and mostly flat (few lumps, bumps and inclines). We liked that we could choose our own pitch and found a nice quite corner to be in where our 5 year old had plenty of space to run around! The campsite is set in beautiful surroundings and in a peaceful location, the campsite itself was also peaceful (except our first evening when a family felt it was acceptable to allow there young children to be running around playing until gone 11pm but not the campsites fault). Toilets and showers were clean and kept tidy (little dated but its a campsite and you get what you pay for, so not actually a complaint!) - Never had to wait to use facilities. Basic campsite but has all you need and definitely worth a stay.

    Disliked:

As others have said - the washing up facilities weren't ideal, no hot water, sink was very low, the fact you had to hold the tap down to get water out meant you were only left with one hand to wash up which made it rather tricky. We had a washing up bowl with us. so i ended up boiling some water and washing up by the tent. Wouldn't put us off coming back though!

From the manager...

Thankyou for your kind review and rating, so glad you and your little one enjoyed your stay here and the spacious surroundings we provide.
I will definitely be taking your comments on board as we will be looking to add another washup sink for next season along with a hot water tap.
Hope to see you again,
Best wishes,
Mike

The toilets and showers could be better cleaned and maintained. No electric plugs in the toilets and we where told there was when we booked.

From the manager...

Thanks for your rating and review guys, glad you liked our campsite and location especially as it rained nearly every day of your 2 week stay ☔️.
Im afraid I (along with many other reviewers) can't agree with you on the toilet and shower block cleanliness though as the cleaners do a great job, especially in such trying weather conditions we've had this summer.
Kind Regards,
Mike.

The sands and sea of handsome seaside town Saundersfoot are a couple of miles away.

Slightly further afield are more family days at Heatherton World of Activities six miles away, and the beaches of Tenby a mile further along the coast.
