Fantastic campsite
Electric gravel motorhome pitch (no awning)
Liked Great site! Owner is lovely, super friendly! Immaculate facilities. Great location for the local town and railway. Our pitch was fab, electric and own water supply, even though we were next to the bins and gray waste, you would never know, as it is so well maintained and there was no disturbance from other guests using the area. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be returning next time we are in Wales

Great little site - a bit different to the usual given its location.
Electric gravel touring pitch (large)
Liked Excellent, brand new facilities with plenty of showers for what is a small site.
Interesting place to stay - different to the standard campsite, surrounded by mountainsides and the remains of the old slate quarry.
Good-sized, well-serviced pitches.
Warm welcome from Janet.
Plenty to do in easy reach - e.g., the nearby visit to the deep slate mine is worth doing.
(Note - for access, make sure to use Glanypwll Rd as signposted, which approaches the site from the rear - SatNav may try to take you down Baltic Road which is a narrow alleyway from which it could be difficult to turn into the site).
