What customers say
This adults-only site offers level, well-maintained pitches in a unique quarry setting. Visitors consistently praise the immaculate, modern toilet and shower facilities. The owners are frequently described as friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Its proximity to local attractions like Zip World and the Ffestiniog Railway is a major draw. While the town itself is noted as run-down, the site's peaceful atmosphere and excellent amenities make it a highly recommended choice.

Electric gravel motorhome pitch (no awning)
Liked Water on pitch, fairly level, size of campsite ie quite small, service area. Good info available re locality and warm welcome from Janet.
Disliked Lights being turned off whilst getting changed after shower and being left in complete darkness. The signage asking people to turn lights off upon exit needs to be amended to check for others still in the washroom or motion sensor lights installed.

Liked Facilities were spotless. Friendly owner greeted us on arrival. Very quiet site. Beautiful views.
Enjoyed the quarry walk with the dog.
I LOVED the 24/7 radio in the toilet block, I can sometimes get anxious going to the toilet block overnight but it was lovely to have the company of the radio.
Disliked Not really a dislike but just a FYI for future guests, the road into site is very steep.
